No time for the wife beater. Having said that it is utterly horrendous how few black coaches there are, when you compare with number of black players something is going badly wrong. It must be a multitude of factors but since there are so few black coaches, it discourages that career path as a start. It absolutely needs to be addressed. It may be lamentable that it has to be a rule, but until things get sorted out more equably at least it will hopefully get some momentum going.

Ashley has no interest in even letting the club spend any money, the best thing about rafa for him is he guarantees the team will over perform, and that Rafa is too loyal to the fans to walk away even though he is clearly being used. we will only spend money made from player sales and at the end of the season Rafa will go to be replaced by a yes man who will get us relegated again. Ashley will not be willing to drop his valuation of the club.

I would have sympathy if it wasn't Villa. Also unless the club actually goes out of business and ceases to be from the outside it's not quite such a tragedy beyond jobs lost. They'll sink so far and maybe end up better run a few years down the line. Bournemouth and Swansea have been through similar haven't they and come back ultimately stronger even if Swansea are on the down again. He's perfectly entitled to feel disappointed that he didn't get more starts or even on the bench ahead of Hayden. Personally I thought he showed a lot of potential still and wouldn't be adverse to try and force a second season out of him. It would be a shame to lose him

I think mitro has a lot of potential but think he missed the chance he had under Rafa in the championship and at the end of the day if Rafa can't trust him he has to go.
