If true sad but probably inevitable

I hate ryan reynolds cos i went to the cinema to see green lantern for reasons i dont understand and man it was rubbish. I also went to see him in some indie thing where he played a murderer and that was rubbish too unfortunately.

i mean with bellingham type transfers its not like transfer window opens and bang everyone fire off the bids, man city, real madrid etc will have been negotiating with agents for a year already. I doubt we are interested, and any interest may be from his agent to get bigger wage offers from either side when in reality we wouldn't offer as giant wages as real or city could

It's hard to judge anyone in that clusterfuck of a team, I did wonder if he was a bit of a ross barkley, did brilliant stuff but most the time not contributing, but that is probably really unfair and would trust howe if he wants him lol

Oh man at start of season I was really excited for what would be the last season we may have without any expectation (or fear of relegation), with no thought would do this well just a season of bedding in new signings and preparing for next season when push for europe starts proper. No nervousness because it was all a free hit. And now I'm anxious about Villa away cos i want 3 points and to try and secure 3rd place...

Genuinely seen this opinion unthinkingly repeated by loads, that Schar was hopeless pre Howe. It's almost like Bruce spent 2 years briefing friendly uncritical journos that the reason schar wasn't playing was cos he was a shit forren soft type and somehow that has filtered through.

Joelinton can bully teams in a way Willock never can, but Joelinton is a little more inaccurate with his passing. Equally Willock's form has fluctuated more, it is possible he has a higher ceiling. I doubt Willock can do as well dropped deep as well, making Joelinton probably the favourite just out of adaptability

And here i was hoping spurs sold Kane to Bayern so they could have a front line of Sane Mane and Kane (and yes you would have to change how you pronounce kane)

It's like some chelsea fan wished upon Chelsea going up for sale for an even more spend happy owner and they got well and truly monkey's pawed

Are we talking about comparing players at their peak or over the totality of career? I think it is difficult to find fault in VVD's game at his very best and absolutely would say he was as good as any centre back who has played the position. In terms of consistency of performance across career and trophies won he isn't quite there, I don't think he has been the player he was since that injury unfortunately and i don't think he is quite so intimidating to play against anymore.

The best footy we played in the whole ashley era (with maybe the debatable exception of the half season when everything Cisse touched turned to goals) was the half season before he left, good coaching was getting players to play above themselves. Best coach of the ashley era no question. I do think maybe Everton stint shows the league has left him behind tactically somewhat, but he had proved flexible with us. Honestly with his football brain and database I wonder if he should be looking for director of football posts rather than manager, he knows his stuff

Quite impressed by this photo from the grauniad of that mortal kombat dude playing for villareal

Sigh kinda hopped arsenal would see it through boring city collecting them
-
it likely all comes down to the arsenal man city game and i fear haaland will just turn them over. Arteta has certainly annoyed me a bunch but still would love someone other than city of lolerpool winning the damn thing
-
I still do if we win, which meant for a lot of brucie era i didn't much (actually think i got numb to our shit after a while and started watching again anyway). I do like watching all the other games etc etc, and feels like a nice celebratory tradition.

I thought that was why it was suggested, would be a pretty funny acronym.

I think he needs to maybe rotate a little more. But as shown from his progress from Bournemouth and even with us, he learns and improves. Brewcie thought he was above learning anything new since he was 6 years old. Half the good managers are all a bit set in how they do things. Howe clearly thinks about things and has changed things. He was famously bad at organising defences at Bournemouth...look now! I was concerned when he joined that he wouldn't be up with modern high press football we would want, he is not. Most important he needs to keep learning. There will be times he will not be doing so well, I hope our owners have the patience they claim to, because he has already moulded the squad into combative attacking players who are bastards but also play with joy. I want that happiness to stay. He is going to have to learn on the job about european football next season, he will have to rotate more and he will have to coach some very challenging ties. I would not be surprised if we struggle in europe first season or so, I hope patience is granted him, because he has learned and improved and he will again.

Mate i probably talk about football the most is an Everton fan so never really bought into the wild hatred. He's so depressed I have tbh been rooting for them to stay up, even if it is all quite funny and how they are run...sweet jesus

Well sign me up
-
They are really very good right now we will need to be on it
-
they're just fucked from 2 big performances in a week, still plenty of time to find something in the tank

Maybe Bruno was upset about asm not himself after game lol
