God these links are going to get tiresome
-
I suppose it would be a bit daft to get super indignant considering the other owners in comparison...
-
God I remember him pulling up next to me at petrol station south of Alnwick in a Lamborghini while we were turbo shit. Prick.
-
Just have to be smarter than the others, and that's not actually that difficult tbh, it's why we went to Brighton for our DoF
-
Guys he's signing a new deal agent just stirring up links to get us to offer bigger wages calm down
-
I can totally see, I am pissing this league and I could earn twice as much elsewhere becoming a factor, but I still can't see him kicking up a fuss so soon when he is so publically happy and settled. He said he came because we were ambitious and we have proven that.

I disagree this City team not being their best actually, yes the points total is not as dominating as earlier ones (and the one that beat Liverpool by a point with ridiculous total probably has to be the benchmark) but I think if it wins the treble it has to be classified as the best he's done. Equally maybe it has more dips in quality, that demolishing of Real Madrid may be the best Man City performance I've ever watched. It was just complete, and felt similar to when Pep's Barca did the same to Real Madrid and you thought oh bloody hell this is just unplayable
-
If we do want him we'll make an offer too, if he picks higher wages and no champions league then oh well we will move on. Before if we missed on a target I assumed "at least we tried" now I know we'll get someone else, plenty of fish in the sea and our rivals are going to sign some very good players unfortunately

Aye Richarlison is a good egg according to my Everton mate, just needs a bit of love really. If Spurs manage to appoint a competent and supportive coach he will be fine, Conte was never a match
-
I'd love it if he went to Bayern if only for the fume from the pfm pundits
-
Also I think genuinely his Villa were the best team we played, comprehensively beat us in all aspects with no excuses. City at Etihad maybe did too but somehow felt more like we had a shot there somehow. Could challenge us next season, albeit suspect thursday nights will take a toll

Happy for Emery done great work in Spain and the arsenal stint felt doomed. Villa have really good players decent funding sabotagued by Purslow being an idiot normally, fixed that with Emery. I can understand to some degree taking a chance on Stevie G but with Coutinho signing could see only cared about looking good short term to get to a certain other club rather than any care for long term. Not shocked was downhill almost immediately.

Player of the Season: 1.Trippier, 2. Joelinton 3. Bruno (Schar very unlucky to miss out) Most Improved Player of the Season: Longstaff- Miggy and Murphy both unlucky to be here, both slightly streaky though, Miggy offers more generally even when not able to finish Miggy offers a lot, Murphy did very well to deputize though. Longstaff has been excellent though, back to where thought he could be under Rafa Most Disappointing Player: Gordon, still not convinced tbh. Signing of the Season: Botman has been excellent, our defence has far exceeded expectations Goal of the Season: Schar against forest wasnt bad start hah but has to be Miggy v Fulham Assist of the season: That Willock pass...wouldnt be surprised to see Modric do that which is praise enough Game of the Season: Was thinking of more complete performances maybe Man U 2-0 that really got us on course for Europe again but has to be absolutely destroying Spurs, and I wasn't even able to watch it live ffs, sat with non football friend outside the Cluney lol Moment of the Season: Can't get over Isak watching his goal go in next to fabianski both in same pose like two people just crashed their cars reversing in a car park Manager rating out of 10: 10 anyone who can find fault is an unreasonable pedant Season rating out of 10: 9 - has to lose a point unfortunately for terrible performance in the league cup final but otherwise perfection. With new season comes new more demanding expectations. I was not a football fan until got to uni (complicated story) so I don't have memories of us under Robson and Keegan to look back on tbh so this, this is the first team where I love everyone. Every single one of them. Even Lascelles, Ritchie whom barely had a kick (ok not Fraser). There is a little bit of melancholy creeping in though. New players will come, loved ones will go, I fear will never be quite this special, the players won't be overperforming they will either be doing what we expect of them or underperforming...all to say in the years to come when we expect to make Champions league a little bit of me fears it won't quite be so good, except maybe when we win our first title. Regardless, I dunno if it will get better than this, I've enjoyed it all and look forward to the future.

I would love to beat man u to 3rd but 4th still huge achievement, i am really struggling to get angry about anything tbh
-
This whole game is one giant

if he wants to go to spurs don't want him lol On paranoia about Bruno leaving, a) doubt it and b) while i would be very sad we would be able to buy 3 brunos with how much he cost. Would send wrong message though, as much as we don't want players who don't want to be here I have seen nothing to suggest even slight unhappiness with Bruno. He plays like he is Barcalona and Real Madrid will still be there. Almost certainly just Barca want him (who wouldn't) and just leaking as such to test waters. We have no reason to sell.

Plenty of well paid building jobs, first of all developers always building so always demand, and equally lot of proper skilled trades in building trades, equally lot of jobs that need a good head for safety etc. Real low paid is things like picking, shop jobs, or just sitting on a production line sticking stuff in boxes

What is up with Budesliga goalkeeping, Mainz keeper just seemed to needlessly palm a ball that was seemingly very clearly flying well over into danger, or is the angle i have poor?
-
Spanish League: we are struggling financially cos we it's not fair we can't sell international broadcast rights for anything close to premier league level Also Spanish League: Lol racism's no biggie
-
Sounds like he wants to stay, so really happy for him to
-
Didn't he leave man city because he didn't like living in England?
-
Solid enough season for man u with outbreaks of competence, they have looked a soft touch at multiple points and I'd still lack any faith in their transfer dealings.

I don't mind Football weekly tbh. Know I'm alone on that, and I know they bring up our ownership a lot in a negative way but personally I do understand where they're coming from. Rushden can be annoying in some ways, Glendenning can be an absolute tool, but on the show tbh he's not that bad. Auclair is the one that really winds me up, I get his righteous fury, I do, god knows if Saudi Arabia had bought Man U I would be furious too, but he really does seem to think we are all evil and every player is evil and we have defiled a moral sport otherwise full of lovely dudes... I dunno, I don't want to hear podcasts that do nothing but blow smoke up our collective arses, why I can't stand POTT tbh it's like listening to people wank off. I want something to listen to that goes through talking points I hadn't thought about etc etc, it's alright to listen to on drive into work. There was a twat on football weekly mind this week who still cannot avoid making jibes about us time wasting... Totally is better in some ways but Richardson seems to have got so low energy at times risks putting me to sleep...
