Yeah writing off amorim is foolish. It's a mess will take time. I do have suspicion of managers whom are wedded to a single formation, aren't you just giving yourself a shelf life?
-
Yes he clearly rolls his ankle because he changes direction to land on schar, nonsense that that proves was accident
-
Looking at the rules interestingly, intent only comes in when striking with the arms or hand. The ref can say that was excessive force in stamping doesnt matter if he meant it or not, am i reading that right?
-
i think he slipped trying to leave a bit on with left foot, kind of minor bit of shithousery get away with 9 times out of 10. He rolls his foot though and the other boot comes down makes it look worse, however fail to see how it's still not a red???
-
Absolutely i get that as an argument for the right boot but he clearly moves the left leg to land on him, you see that all the time so maybe unlucky to be the one done for it but is intent that important anyway, either his feet were in control then clear red, or out of control and stamping on someone potentially causing injury. Feel like we're all being gaslit that players dont try and leave one in on an opponent all the time
-
wondering that, guess league leaders and goals but hardly that interesting

Funny how calmer a finisher he is when he's not a striker.

It's also worth pointing out that Howe's style isn't possession focused, high press and aggression comes at a cost of misplaced passes and the types of players howe wants and we have arent metronomes. I have advocated bringing in players to enable us to play more likek that purely as a plan b, and arguably the players if coached to do so could be less risky but I think it's a conscious choice. The players just need to be fit and hunt in packs to get it back, if we're short like we were at start of season we give the ball away and dont win it back

I know they check them all, but doing a var check on that offside?
-
I can't resist, cos they like surrendering?

JOOOOELINTON

Yeah, its weird when 'unnaturally bigger' counts for some things not others. It's ahrsh to rule ou twhen basically its all in natural position and knew nothing

NEver a foul that

How did he miss that!

Brunos pass is ridiculous
-
Genuinely one of the most upsettingly dreadful attacking move i've ever seen, reminded me of the bruce days

The charges hanging over is the thing, getting someone quality long term deal may be tough but i imagine they'd get someone dependable in to 'steady the ship' and try and lure an exciting young coach who has nothing too much to lose if they get relegated by the charges in the summer

excellent midfield, though tielemans always seemed to have massive off games against us
-
My everton mate messaged me to to say pep should be sacked if they concede, even if score 5 goals the other way should never happen
-
I mean also this Everton team have lost to Southampton twice this season, i smell city confidence boosting win
-
Bit harsh on Bruno calling him not elite level supply
-
Definitely but worth pointing out that Chelsea's new model is the long contracts are balanced with comparatively low wages so if he didn't want the long contract not unreasonable to turn down.

isn it more just the 3-4-3 has 2 in midfield which will always be a point of weakness. Thats not a criticism, there are huge strengths to the system but not sure man u has the wide players to best take advantage and if they dont leaves midfield exposed. Chelsea did it brilliantly but chelsea had Kante fairly importantly
