No no they fear the journey into the area due to all the toxic fumes and litter everywhere, nothing to do with the game
  2. Hes played 3 games for the u21s. But yes lets get angry at Howe for some reason

It was obviously insane thing to do but shouldn't forget i guess it's the one time they as a club haven't been incredibly bitter and petty
  4. I think staverley used to leak a lot, not a criticism ofc but she clearly struggled not to tell everyone everything. Now she's gone journos know less
  5. My feeling on Madison is he's one of those like grealish that looks their best playing with freedom as the central player for a, no offence meant, small(er) team. I don't think spurs are a terrible fit for him under postecoglu in fairness he should be afforded freedom somewhat so maybe in right place really but it never looks as fun for these types of players when they're no longer the big fish

    Dan Burn

    Honestly love him to bits.
  7. I can't see him starting Botman, but i also kinda think an inanimate pole is better than Kelly
  8. I've said before but I think on selling 'stars' we need to hold onto Isak at all costs because you can't just go and get a guaranteed 20 goal a season striker whenever you want without spending a lot of money, when prospects who get to 10 goals a season cost £70m sometimes we do need to fight to keep him. Elsewhere, we need to look at contractual situations and if the player wants to stay or go. It's clear we can't invest heavily in our squad without selling and the bit part players are not going to reliably raise a lot of cash. I'm not saying sell Bruno or anything, quite the opposite, but if he comes and says he wants to go to real madrid and can't be convinced otherwise, we fleece them for as much as possible and sign 3 players with the cash raised. That has to be the attitude moving forward if PSR restricts us so, we need to keep improving. We need to be hitting champions league to stop these players leaving regardless. I really hope though our PSR restrictions ease up and we can start signing players to be ease into the team and be adequate replacements when they do get sold.
  9. Yeah that's entirely reasonable, i do question the speed of the transition to 3 at the back though but I do agree with you in that Amorim deserves time and has been hamstrung by what is available.
  10. I do get having a style and system, I dont get it so wedded to one specific formation. What's wrong with playing 4-3-3 if it sorts the defence out a bit and working towards 3-4-3 if thats waht you want to do? I really dont think they have the players, a dominant midfielder and wing backs are super necessary imo
  11. That midfield 2 against our midfield was madness like. When Chelsea won everything with a 3-4-3 they had kante in midfield
  12. Have they already sold the executive suite stuff?
  13. You'd have to pay me a lot of money to make me listen to Joey Barton's 'common sense'

Yes but it is about Ofcom having a named person whom is held liable if the moderation misses something for an unclear amount of time, and the liability is huge. I am not taking sides really dont know enough but will see
  15. Somehow more convinced we'll get screwed by ref or they'll suddenly become good or something by our form compared to theirs
  16. Are any staff members even left?
  17. in one way its cheating in another way its selling off their future for immediate gain. All these bits they've sold off they wont have as revenue when the next guy is president. Were I a barca fan i'd be sick.
  18. Anyone wanting mourinho is madness. I did ponder his future after i think the west ham result. I wondered if he had taken us as far as he could and if the squad would regain the spark and if a new manager could be brought in to get his feet under the table before a summer rebuild caused by us maybe having to move on some of our 'purples' and give them a chance to build it in their image. I wasnt even blaming howe too much he was badly let down in the summer and i just thought we'd stayed still in the summer and that was going to lead to regression. I thought with Staverley gone his biggest ally was gone and so Howe may feel being pushed out a bit and maybe we have to bring in a coach who can work in the new system. However no obvious 'upgrade' of a coach is or was available (certainly not Mou) regardless and its clear the players are still completely on board, so I am very glad to see we are back to playing as we want. The loss of defensive solidity and our lack of goals was concerning. I was also thinking that qualifying for europe was looking pretty unlikely and that would guide the thinking of the owners, however it seems incompetence elsewhere has left us still very much in the mix
  19. Ever amazed that on our first transfer window under the new owners, while bottom of the league staverley howe and nixon in a room phoning people manically to get some players to save us from the drop we managed to land this guy? It's ridiculous!
  20. In fairness i think managing those high earners out the squad is financially prudent, they have way too many players on wages that make them impossible to move on considering their performance level
