Either way, I think we can all agree Owen, as effective as was in a few games under Keegan was nowhere near Scholes. Scholes was the complete attacking midfielder. I wouldn't say complete like, he couldn't tackle for one... Yep, his tackling was atrocious.

Think people are a bit touchy when it comes to a bit of constructive criticism at the moment, all a few have done is pointed out a few valid flaws and concerns (which numerous people share, so it's clearly not just bollocks) such as his tendency to punch and his sometimes apparent inability to do it effectively. He needs more time obviously, nobody is writing him off in the slightest, but he needs to improve if he's going to be our #1 in the PL next season should we get promoted.

Stats don't really mean everything, I've seen him punch balls directly to opposition players in our box at least 3 times this season where they've only just missed. As I said in my last post it's only because the quality is lacking in this league that he hasn't been punished yet. Don't want to be negative about him, but he just doesn't look convincing at all to me. I'd be quite worried if there isn't an improvement and he is our #1 in the PL next season.

Mojo - That's how I feel as well, I'm still really nervous about him and there's been a few occasions where his punches have just been headed towards trouble and against quality opposition we are actually going to get punished. If we go straight back up I feel like I'd have Krul back here starting with Sels as back up unless he really improves considerably.

He's doing a great job. For as long as I've been alive it's been in the DNA of NUFC to have a shit defence - no matter how good the attack is. This man is changing everything about us and I love him, he's perfect. Enjoyed his interview with Holloway at the end, so humble and saying all the right things to gee up the team. Also loved it when Holloway decided to congratulate and praise him instead of asking a final question which IMO proves that a lot of the people associated in the league are really quite honoured to have him involved.

You can't deny the damage he's done to NUFC, but if he's prepared to accept he's wrong and turn a corner (which atm looks what is happening, although with him you never know what's round the corner) then fair enough. Us winning a trophy would probably be the best thing to ever happen in my life so if we were to win something of note I could definitely forgive him.
