  1. They're nee different. Was in earlier for the open day. Still bust hand towel machines and that.
  2. I reckon we'll get a couple of loans in but they wont be done until the last week of the window.
  3. There's absolutely no way this is going on until Monday. What with the open day and open training session planned on the St James' turf and that being Sissoko's first day back at graft. Wont happen.
  4. That Pritchard was spotted at the AFC Wimbledon v Crystal Palace game on my timeline earlier. May mean nowt but it could also mean Parsnip pinching players that we're linked with as he cant scout his own.
  5. Ive a feeling that we're waiting on a striker loan from someone who is playing overseas at present. I also think that we may keep stock until January for further permanent deals.
  6. Shite aside, I actually think Bruce wont be as bad a shout as is being made out. A bloke that should really have played for his country but didn't. A bloke that will know how he imagined it would feel to play for the country will put up with nobody else disrespecting a position he didn't get the chance to have. A bloke that won a dozen or so major honours with Man Utd. He'll command respect. Wonder what Obese Sam will command? (apart from boxes and boxes of hubba bubba)
  7. I dont think there's been any big fanfare that season tickets are on general sale either. Maybe if there was, a little boost may occur.
  8. A cursory glance at the FA website would also prove that the FA is run by old men. One of the three people selecting the new manager openly admits he isn't a 'football expert' ffs. That's bad that is. Even someone as footballingly inept as Lee Charnley fluked a decision right now and then with Rafa the proof. Could do worse than someone like Klinsman or Eddie Howe
  9. If the chewing gum addict does get the job then I wonder which stooge the inbreds will get next. Whoever it is, they'll only last until January at the latest until they replace him for another boost in search of gaining that 17th place trophy target again.
  10. more bullshit. other teams are paying monopoly money for pretty much unknown or unproven foreigners and we're being made out that we're asking unrealistic fees for players that have proven they can do it if they can be arsed. Just hot air filling the rags with no news being the real story. The club told the agents to fuck off with the players and come back with realistic offers or come back to pre-season training and it's this story that is still being run. This ignores the fact that Gini has been spotted in many training montages this week with a smile on his face. Gini and Sissoko may yet stay whether through choice or giving it to January to see where we're at. One factor that is missing in all this is that there's contracts to adhere to and professionalism will have to come into this at some point.
  11. Cant disagree with this.
  12. With just as many champions league winners as managers in our division, maybe Rafa will point this out. If Moussa is offered the role as head of the project (captain), then he may get him to commit up until January at the earliest. If the minimum transfer fee of £25m isn't met then it's a no go anyway.
  13. While we're at it, we'll replace him with Payet for a fiver.
  14. If Sissoko creates an auction and we get £25 - £30 million for him then the chances of Gini stopping must increase as I just cant see Benitez want to lose the two of them. Add in the fact that he seems happy enough in training and not his face tripping him like Janmaat and De Jong, he may yet stay against the odds. Wonder what his leadership stats are on FM? He may be tempted by a captain's role.
  15. Personally id say a combination of Rafa + Results + Decent Performances are the next step although the flags thing will compliment the mood.
  16. I still say the asking price will be £20 million sterling.
  17. If the asking price is in Euros, will the recent £ collapse, surely that will have changed.
  18. It's nailed on Sissoko if he stays as it'll be part of the bargaining talk. If he goes then the fact that there's no obvious choice is the telling factor. Id hazard a guess and say De Jong.
  19. I agree with this and it should be intimidating for the opponent. However, I suspect it's intended to be pro Newcastle and positive in its infancy. At least until we're seen to not be trouble makers or anti-anything. Again... I will hopefully find out more tomorrow as will "wor jackie". I think there's one or two people who've been more involved than me to date in this particular group so I cannot gan in all guns blazing Although my comment was tongue in cheek, what I mean is that some of the greatest quotes attributed to Newcastle United have to be rammed down the oppositions throat as well as motivate the home lot. Off the top of my head, the likes of SBR, King Kev, Jackie Milburn, SuperMac, Gazza etc need to be shown somehow, even famous words of commentators. The Sir Bobby quote has been done but appreciation to other legends has to be a priority in my opinion.
  20. Got to be scary banners as well. Im not sure which Turkish club has 'Welcome To Hell' but I like it.
  21. 100% this like. Even some of the better ones, including the likes of Liverpool, dont have that many banners if you analyse them properly. It's the fact the banners are the spark for others to have little flags and scarves that is key. http://static.sportskeeda.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/make-us-dream-1427214159.jpg
  22. What the fuck is this logic? Ayala only has 2 or 3 premier league starts a few years ago for Liverpool as well as flit around the championship on loan at the likes of Derby and yo-yo club Norwich before joining the smoggies but isn't fluttering eye lashes with talk of 15 million smackeroons but we're pensioning off our purples for prices half that.. Wijnaldum in his first season in a struggling side got double figures and who knows how Sissoko would perform longer term under a respected manager with a decent plan. In that instance I would like £25 million for Wijnaldum and at least £20 million for Sissoko please, thank you very much. If not, then we keep. Simples. Both proven to be quality premier league players on their day, these unknown Johnny foreigners going for dafty millions are not.
  23. Wey not to worry, only 60 days left in the window or something to worry about outgoings. Surely we'll be able to attract decent loans in though.
  24. To be fair, a lot of the music played since Rafa came was like it was When Shearer and co were playing. Even the Old Spice music got an airing.
