    Florian Thauvin

Ahh but its different when your fans favourite player does it. So many hypocrites in our support. Name a fans favourite who has done what Thauvin allegedly did? Tbf Perez did something similar (going down and staying down for no reason when the match carried on) at Bournemouth in front of the away fans, and tbf he got pelters off most the fans for it and all- and he'd already scored what turned out to be the only goal of the game!!! Suppose the big difference is we weren't desperate for an equaliser with 3 minutes left at the time. Aye, doing it when your a goal up to preserve a lead is somewhat different.

    Florian Thauvin

He's not really being made a scapegoat though is he. The fans are completely pissed off and he's bore the brunt of their frustration by acting like a complete tart. It's not his fault our stupid policy brought him to the club, and he's not to blame for everything thats gone on here, but the away support yesterday decided he isn't fit for purpose, and if we're being honest he probably isn't.
  3. Rest In Peace Pavel. Never forget players like you.

    Steve McClaren

I actually don't mind McClaren. An ok bloke and he never greases up to his bosses like Pardew seemed to do on a weekly basis, and he seems to get what Newcastle should be about. But thats not enough. A decent coach maybe, but out of his depth at top level management. When the pressure is on and results go badly under him, he seems to completely lose control of the situation and it unravels very quickly. I really don't know where the club go from here. We could sack him tomorrow but who sorts out this bunch of idiots that dare call themselves professional footballers.
  5. Love this lads desire and work ethic.
  6. A below average manager who's lost the dressing room. A dressing room which is just full of utter bottlers.
  7. I'm the same, seems an ok bloke but he's just not up to it.
  8. That change of system and personnel at half time was just utter blind panic and guess work. Got what it deserved.
  9. Bye Steve. you've had a go and its just not good enough. Stick to being a coach and you may keep that hair.
  10. Whilst I agree with this, the premier league is full of clubs I absolutely loath. If we were a decent ran club it'd be nice to see us get one over on a few constantly, instead of the other way round.
  11. I think Ashley would consider selling if we spent a good few years down there, but that's the problem. We'd have to be rotting into nothingness like Leeds for him to go.

    Sunderland

Fer's alright tbh, the two relegations probably aren't a reflection on him rather the shite he played with.... and still will.

    Sunderland

Aye, not saying they won't be productive, but it's not as glamorous as they'd like to think. Motivation (except vs us) is a problem of theirs and these just seem to be players of the same ilk.

    Sunderland

M'Vila hasn't settled at any club and doesn't look one bit arsed. He's got loads of ability, but the fact his stock has fallen so low that Sunderland look to be his next club says a lot.
  15. If I had the choice i'd probs take Berahino, talented player who makes things happen. However I think the link is rubbish and we seem to be back in this situation where no-one has a clue whats going on. If Austin is our true target then i'd take him, looks the type who might thrive in a Newcastle shirt.
  16. I think Berahino would be a better partner for Mitrovic than Austin. By a million miles. He's also a far better player in general. Only thing Austin has over him is he seems less of a mardy modern footballer type. Regardless, it matters little because we'd never pay the money to sign Berahino. Ah but Berahino is an arrogant tit whilst Austin has scored at every level he's been at. With Austin you pay for an effective goalscorer, for Berahino you're paying a higher price essentially for his potential. And personally I think it's potentially he'll never reach. Perhaps harsh, but feel he'll fall into a similar category of footballers as Scott Sinclair in a few years. So what? how about we analyse what the team needs instead of going for " goals tho!" and completely ignore the balance of the team and what would compliment what we have. Not like it matters as we won't get him, but i'm not sure why people want Austin so much when he's an extremely bad fit and would completely imbalance the team. You call it imbalance, I call it the ability to rotate/have options when the inevitable injuries and suspensions come along. If Mitrovic doesn't fire then all the pressure is on Perez and Cisse (if he stays) again. Riviere simply doesn't count. The 11 purples only routine is a failed approach, limits what a manager can do and doesn't push players who know they're guaranteed to start. This is throughout the team mind, having plenty of good options in the squad is essential. Austin may not be the most fashionable player but given the complete and utter disgrace of our last few seasons I reckon i'd take him at Newcastle.

    Charlie Austin

If you'd said monitoring i'd have absolutely believed you.
  18. Shawcross would improve us, but if he was as good as some make out I think he'd have left Stoke by now. We should have signed Aldwerweireld when we had the chance, think he's a brilliant defender, or just kept MYM and coached him better.
  19. unreal. brings up illness issues that has literally no else mentioned and then forgets despite lifting a trophy Moncur now actively promotes a regime that does everything in its power not to win one.
  20. Pete Graves losing his shit on twitter over fans criticising Moncur.
  21. Gotta be Lascelles ahead of him next season, if we're daft enough to keep him.
  22. His goal was a fine finish. We've been priced out of the Lindgard market and now this lad, poor Charnley.
