Asm needs to start being part of a team here. Ignoring plenty of passing options to run into trouble.
-
He doesn't want to drop anyone as they performed so well against Leeds. Sigh
-
I'd rather listen to people moan than people moan about others moaning tbh
-
I'll have to give it a watch again. Think I turned it off in disgust at some of his touches half way through tbh
-
17 out of his 50 PL goals have been headers. 3 were penalties. A good deal more were tap ins. Getting in behind isn't one of his strengths.

In reality we all should have checked out when Kinnear was given the job. I still feel like that was a 'Diana' moment, I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news. It was that funny (except the joke was on us). Pardew made me hate him, hate the club and possibly hate football. He definitely made me want the club to lose for the first time. And second, third, fourth... For Carver, see Kinnear. I had nothing left to get angry about by the time Bruce got here.

If it's his kids in the video he's clearly a shit dad also. The cat needs removing for it's safety fast
-
Hopefully he's not shy when it comes to playing football in front of a big home crowd. We've had/still have enough of that type of character already
-
When he said "it's good it's clear that Newcastle have signed a midfielder, not an attacker" it felt like a swipe at the Joelinton situation Hopefully Joelinton and Almiron can both benefit from a having a connection with Bruno
-
I'd really like to know what Eddie Howe's feelings are in regards to not getting another attacker in - has he said to the owners he has enough to keep us up without the extra body, or was he pushing and telling them we really need to get another forward as we are currently powder-puff and will struggle for goals. I think all of us were expecting a striker to be signed even before the injury to Wilson. We'll only know if it has been a mistake at the end of the season. Chris Wood banging a few in soon would certainly help ease those concerns though.

Bournemouth doing a Newcastle here so far

People don't have to want to run for a position on the Trust to give their view that it is not being run properly.
-
I mean, pretty sure those 2 stats aren't the only relevant ones for judging the quality and/or performances of centre backs. Not to say they aren't relevant, just they are quite selective.
-
Thanks to you guys talking about this I stuck it on at 1-0, well worth the watch so far

His FB Scout report (the ones that show Guimaraes as being a god at most things), makes for absolutely tragic viewing. Literally the only thing he is good at is winning aerial duels. https://ibb.co/PtDDdGq

"A very good transfer for the club" doesn't really sound like he's gutted at losing him for a fairly small fee and without a replacement, although he makes a point of saying he's a great pro so his character is clearly good. Hopefully he makes a massive difference to our ability to defend.
-
With his fitness record we really are in the hands of the gods for goals. We really have to hope he's back soon, match fit and back in form immediately, and somehow manages to stay fit for the remainder of the season. If I was a betting man..

If Bruno were to get injured we are fucked. I think a lot of us felt we needed 2 midfielders
-
That we started the day with 3 players already due to sign by all accounts, and yet look to be ending it with only 2 is a disappointing way to end the window. That Chris Wood is our only attacking addition scares me.
-
We have to still be trying for something, otherwise today has been a bit of a failure (and I'm sure the new ownership will feel that way themselves also) as we clearly wanted to add Lingard/Ekitike, possibly both.
-
Seeing this news at the top on the yellow ticker as opposed to something more exciting (or just any attacking signing) is triggering me far too much
-
Time to pull a surprise or 2 out of the hat
-
We can and probably are trying to get both
-
I don't think we'd have spent most of the month chasing him and go back in on deadline day without knowing that he wants to come here. If we want this deal done, we'll do it imo.
