That logo on the shirt

Got a feeling Bayern will go for Kane, they desperately need an elite ST and they've said as much iirc.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Paddy power have been pretty good about us this season tbf. A lot of the funny stuff I've seen from them has been a positive rather than a negative. VAR room officials saying Joelinton being a fantastic player when mocking the VAR audio from Howard Webb is just 1 example. -
Not sure where to put this but over half the value of the sale of the club coming back in after just 1 full season Also I think what is a real positive is that to PIF it's made it clear that investment = success. Not that I didn't think they would hold back anyway, but it gives Eddie a huge swing in asking for as much investment as possible, and PIF can clearly see it has its rewards.

Think the sponsor looks better in a black box tbh like below but either way I'm so glad the logo of them is decent as its such a deal breaker for me having a decent logo on a shirt (if indeed it is them)

Finally got round to watching minus 17. The owner that offered Eddie the job full time after losing his first 2 games as caretaker manager because he could see there was more to Eddie that those final scores. Monumental decision and wow didn't it pay off.
-
Think it seems worse but he holds his foot there more than pushes his foot forward and follows through. That would have been a career ender. Played very well on a yellow though as he did versus Brighton so he's got the discipline.

Any good videos of that half time challenge?

No doubt Hinchcliffe thinks he should have won the league this season, he should really have rotated the squad more and he just has to arrive to work earlier. Eddie is an ICON

That Jassim seems like a disaster waiting to happen for any club, he's constantly on twitter saying he'll do this and do that, now he's spat his dummy out to Man Utd and "warned" them he'll buy elsewhere. Honestly don't think he's anywhere near as legit as he says he is tbh.

Even the takeover itself, about to have new owners and the PL came along and said "no you can't". Then when there was a bit of light PIF decided to pull out completely. Devastating and like you say, totally in line with the Ashley days. Anything can happen in a 90 minute game of football, but this is our cup final and it's quite fitting that after the entire season it comes down to our last home game, Howe and the players deserve that and they'll do everything possible to make it happen. I remember at the start of the season seeing us in the top 4 and I couldn't stop looking at the league table as I felt that it was only a matter of time before we moved down to a more normal position of 8th-12th. We're still fucking here! Honestly one of the most impressive feats in PL management in my opinion, relegation fodder to top 4 in just over a season and a half. Remarkable.

It's their owner. Dan still knows his shit but it's not all him.

Read earlier that Boehly actually believed Chelsea were playing Champions League football every season because they are, well.. Chelsea Also turned up at the changing room at half time v West Ham with a load of kids as they wanted to meet the players, Tuchel told him to get to fuck. Then he was sacked Absolutely mental.
-
Love how at the end when Murphy is high fiving all the players then you just hear the entire changing room chanting once they all get in there

What a fucking night. Just unbelievable. Never ever thought these days would come after the last 20 years. Proper back in love with football again and what a club we have now.

Touchline ban makes no difference what so ever, some mangers sit in the stands themselves ffs. Fergie built the dugouts at OT practically in the stands as you get a better view. May as well just give him a touchline gurning ban as it would cause him more distress.
-
Why wouldn't he?

Does anyone think Pep will manage us before he retires?
-
That Diallo is such a fucking diver, rolls around like Busquets. I see they have their next catts in Pritchard, seems a bit of a cunt with little man syndrome. Also their keeper looks about 12. Good game though
-
I wouldn't say we bottled it as we faced a very strong Arsenal side and are about to play a very good Brighton side during our run in. We would definitely have let it slip from our grasp though considering our position. We've been in top 4 for just about all season haven't we? Would love to know how many weeks total actually if anyone can find that info?

Still have a feeling Man Utd are gonna slip up somewhere.

Bookies odds are never accurate anyway, they're always less than the true probability because that little slice of probability that they leave out is how they make their money and can afford to pay your bet if you win. I gave up betting a while ago but after many years I learnt that you can only make money from them by getting true value, and that the bookies favourites can and will absolutely lose. Hence Liverpool and Man Utd being favourites for each of their remaining games can be a positive for us
