  1. Sorry the independent ran an article about his likely return and people responded to it. If people had known what was actually going on, rather than what was reported, I doubt anyone would have made their comments.
  2. Maybe just get the club to say he has asked for his privacy to be respected or that he he wants to be nearer his family. Probably takes too much time when you have a flight to catch.
  3. I agree. However, considering we know for a fact that he left pretty much immediately when facing what appears to be a long lay off (despite our most important game being so soon) and when viewed in the context of his behaviour last season (not to mention the consequences his absence nearly resulted in) I think it's churlish to question why people are aggrieved at his latest disappearance. Granted we won't know the reasons why he's gone but that shouldn't preclude fans of Newcastle United questioning his behaviour.
  4. Martins could do it, unintentionally.
  5. the man is a monumental c***. That "wacky" facade is extremely irritating and basically a veneer for the prick underneath His family life doesn't suggest he is a monumental c*** or a prick. Comes across as one of the more human managers, shame he got turned into a sideshow. Plymouth fans might tell you differently in regards to him as a person .JT won dad of the year. Not sure what his family has to do with anything tbf His leaving of Plymouth was a typical part of modern football. He went on record later to say that how he acted in leaving Plymouth was not good enough. John Terry winner of a ketchup poll beating previous incumbent Peter Andre... The fact that when he was manager at QPR he made a 250 mile commute so that his children could attend a deaf school in Bristol isn't relevant. Fair enough. Just not sure what your sauce is for calling him a monumental cunt or a prick.
  6. You're reducing Taylor to a caricature. He's not a complete disaster by any stretch of the imagination. Prone to spells of idiocy yes, but he has by and large during his time here, been a consistent and competent performer.
  7. It would have been a disaster had Colo been shown the door last season. Because of his standing in the game, the standing, and the organisation of the club, Pardew has to be pragmatic from time to time.
  8. Makes sense to reserve judgement till that has happened.

  10. Was on about MA rather than Pardew.
  11. By learning from their mistakes.
  12. Jupp Heynckes would have been a good choice I think (I know he retired). I understand the logic and 'fit' of moyes but whilst he is a good manager I'm not quite sure he is a top manager.
  13. Ben Arfa as a false 9 allowed us to drop Cisse which was necessary.
  14. I think Hatem is the sort of player who'd be miserable as fuck if we won 4-0 and he played badly.
  15. Wasn't too enamoured with him giving away that free kick at the end. Great game from him today though.
  16. The monkey is a positive character in the story. More offensive to astronauts.
