Of all the people in that squad, I figured they'd be able to hold on to Chambers. He wasn't even first-choice last season and would get plenty more games this season. He ought to stay if he wants to continue his development. As someone said before, it's the wrong move for everyone involved. Surprised nobody has gone in for Ward-Prowse, always stood out for me whenever I saw them.

seems like the Aarons/armstrong/Satka class of youngsters are starting to overtake the group ahead of them.. Hope it's because they are actually decent. I hope we handle them the right way and not let them stagnate like we have with a lot of the others.

Are there any realistic options as a "big money striker"? I can't see us spending more than 10 Million on someone, perhaps 12 million at the most.. Just under what it would take to get someone like Lacazette, PEA, or even Remy.. If you look around the 'top 5' leagues there don't seem to be many great options. In our market these days 10 million would buy someone like Jordan Rhodes.. not the worst idea but far from the guaranteed goal scorer that we are looking for..
