  1. Hate to break it to you but I think they can submit documents before 11 which gives them an extra hour to complete, its happening like :'(
  2. Where's that from? And get over what, exactly? On the NUFC subreddit in a thread where he the OP basically says mid table is good for Newcastle, as we have a young squad.
  3. There's a load of spanners on the NUFC subreddit
  4. Anyone got the Newcastle 2014 stat?
  5. I'm surrounded by morons...had a guy saying we've had an excellent transfer window and Pardew just needs time to "let the players gel", and thinks Defoe is exactly what we need and will "guarantee 20 goals". Finally another colleague said Ben Arfa should be sold and Obertan should be given another shot as he has impressed lately...
  6. I'm hoping we get no-one in, I don't want any players to bail Pardew out over the next few months!
  7. Rumour doing the rounds that he chose Southampton as we couldn't guarantee him first team football .
  8. Pardew's cutting off his nose to spite his face like, its just a shame its Ben Arfa who is sacrificed for the daft cunt to finally to show his limitations to the masses.
  9. Well done lads. To be honest this is the most down regarding Newcastle I think I've ever been, and this is one of the few things thats keeping my spirits up (that and one day sometime in the future, Pardew will not be the manager). If there is anyway I can contribute to this, please let me know.
  10. But then we might actually have to sign somebody!
  11. The perfect player to go for; QPR won't accept anything less than 15m as we are not in Europe and even if by some miracle they do, we can just claim Remy was asking for too high wages. QPR get to keep a good striker, Remy doesn't have to play for Pardew and idiots believe it's not our fault we didn't bring another striker in (even though there's probably at least 20 strikers in the world who are in our budget and would improve our team, but no we will just focus on 2 guys who we are not willing to cough up for and don't want to join us)- everyone's a winner (apart from the team and fans).
  12. I think the problem is Mbwia is Pardew's worst nightmare! Pardew likes a no-nonsense defender (i.e risk adverse) who will get it as far away from goal as possible in any sort of dangerous situation (probably why he seems to prefer Dummet over Haidara aswell). Whereas Mbwia is a ball playing CB, he will pick up the ball and try and keep possession, naturally this is more risky (but ironically more beneficial in the long run) which is what Pardew can't stomach, as all he gives a shit about is scraping by in his job. To be honest either way Mbwia is wasted under Pardew and he is better moving on to progress. Our only hope is Pardew is binned at Christmas and the likes of Ben Arfa and Mbwia can return and show how much of coward Pardew is/was.
  13. 1. Who the hell says "roster"? 2. How is our "roster" full? We still have one of the smallest squads of teams challenging for 10th!
  14. "poised to give the go-ahead" and no sources add this to the fact it's the daily mail and I think we have some bullshit on our hands!
  15. His price will sky rocket! Time to cash in.
  16. Anything less then a win next week and I can see the pressure being back on Pardew, if we win he'll claim 4 points from the first 3 games.
  17. 16m Could have got McCormack or Wickham for 11m, mugs!
  18. Have to say I thought he looked terrible in the World Cup. The amount of times he stupidly gave the ball away was embarrassing. He had one good season and the odd good game but he's generally been found out and he's in a position that can easily be replaced. I'd sell for anything more than 5 million!
  19. Arsenal celebrated for like a minute and the ref still blew on the 95th minute exactly, imagine if it was the other way around
  20. Surely head butting a player and getting banned for 8 games would unsettle the players more...
  21. These last few pages Its pretty obvious to anyone who knows a decent amount about football that if we got our act together we should be at least a top 6 side and at least challenging for cups. Forgot about this oh but we we were relegated 6 years ago crap, we still had a top squad and were in the top 5 in the UK for attendance's throughout the championship, strolling the championship accordingly. Again forgot about the myth that we can't compete with other clubs finances until very recently we were one of the worlds 20 richest clubs, in the richest league in the world and again getting some of the highest attendance's in the league. Yes Ashley has to take a lot of the blame as he hasn't invested anywhere near enough but for whatever reason the level of players we can still attract is still high and we are still picking up some of the best european youth prospects. In fact each year (when we spend) we are actually picking up better and better players and yet this doesn't correspond on the pitch. One of our player leaves and all of a sudden we have no creativity, can't score goals and can't defend, something doesn't add up. That something Pardew. We concede one goal and we are f***ed. In fact if we score before 70 minutes we are f***ed as we will sit back and hope we get the result "over the line". Pardew's sole tactic is get it in the mixer and hope for some magic, he belongs in league 1 at best (in fact he was pie'd off when he was in league 1). The guy's s***, has always been s*** and will be s*** next season. We will scrape 10th due to some individual brilliance and the odd result were we scrape by, sell a couple of our "purples", Pardew will stay and the cycle will repeat.
