Thing with all these 3rd party sites like the above others that are popping up through facebook and suchlike, they are all just selling the ones from DHgate, but at a higher price. It's all the same shirts available, same sizes (with potential sizing issues) and options, but your paying more from these 3rd party sites. May as well just be brave and order direct from DHGate and save some cash. Only one that seems to be selling at the same prices as DHGate prices is Soccer03.com The worse thing though, is people on Facebook Marketplace selling blatant snides of this seasons shirt for £50, claiming they've bought or had bought for them the wrong size but can't be bothered to return it to the club shop.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Got the first match on here, had forgotten Kasper Schmeichel played for Nice, until the foreign commentators were just saying his name after a save. EDIT: 2-0 Fiorentina -
Couldn't get in when we go there as the queue was out the door and along opposite the Strawberry. Not sure if it was linked to the card machines being down in the ground, so trying to limit numbers going in?

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Had a good day there with my son. Got there about half time of the first match and scanned in fine with our digital tickets, (into the platinum club bar) to be told cash only, no cards, and luckily I had a tenner on me to get a couple of drinks. Watched the end of the first match and went back to the bar and the card machines still not working. So had to get a pass off the guys on the door to allow us out and back in, so we could go out for some cash. Went to the filling station on Barrack Rd as cashpoints at the ground and little Tesco had huge queues. Then at half time of our match, the machines were working again. Overall, decent enough match for pre-season, and got to see 90mins of Tonali. Nice goals from Miggy and Isak, and will be looking for a stream tomorow for the 2nd game. -

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Realised this week that I'd dropped a bollock when ordering. Thought it was £15/day or £30 for the weekend, which seemed about right for this sort of pre-season thing. When adding the digital tickets for me and my son, realised they are just for today, so rechecked and the weekend ticket was £55 for adults. So, just going today (heading out soon, and will go in for 2nd half of the first match). Hopefully Eddie will put the 'strong' team out today... hehe -
Was my thinking too yesterday. Livra now become the cover and longterm replacement for Tripps, whilst alos being able to cover LB (if I'm right?), and Ashby (subject to successful loans spell(s)) becomes the longterm cover for Livra instead.
-
Anyone think Livramento is the shorterm tripps/LB cover, long term replacement, and Ashby could be the longterm Livramento cover aftre his loan, or will Ashby be as good as gone?

Absolute class, that.... hairs on the back of the neck, and that.

My latest DHGate snides have been dispatched by uncle Jing. Will post up some pics when they arrive, but hoping he's got it reet and sent the 'fans' versions as ordered.

Got the email through earlier to download the digital tickets for the Sela Cup next weekend. -
Looks decent that, and with quicker delivery times than DHGate. Will save the website for future reference, and incase 'Wor Jing' lets me down on my next couple (hoping for fan versions with embroidered badges).

It's nee "Sunderland Till I die" like! Hehe, that looks like it'll be class, like. And with a (spoiler alert) happy ending.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Stayed up for this last night, and feel absolutely wrecked this morning, so just WFH. Decent enough match, both sides still a bit rusty, and trying some things out and giving fringe players some game time. and I'm sure things will be a lot differnet for the opening PL match. Some strange games/results in this tournament so far though... 4-3, 3-2, 3-3. Good entertainment though for the Americans and the travelling fans. Don't think I'll be staying up for the next one though, as I'll have to be 'In' work the next day. -
Aye, another on the ignore list, here.
-
This thing with other clubs kicking up a stink... maybe they've seen the reported fee and thiunk we're underselling, and actually have our back and want us to get more for ASM, and not sell cheaply to another PIF owned club just because of the joint ownership?
-
Totally agree, and I'm at the age now where even though I coudl afford it, I can't justify spending £70 for a football shirt for myself, especially given I wouldn't wear it that often other than watching the match at home or in the pub, so a snide that looks decent enough until scrutinised next to a genuine one, is fine by me. And the snides generally are all much better than they used to be 'when we were kids'. That said, looks like the green away shirt will stand oot a mile though! Haha
-
Maybe not teens, but I think its perfectly acceptable to buy these for younger kids for knocking about in and ruining, rather than £50 a pop for the genuine ones. Lad at work has 2 sons (under 10s) and he gets them the snides as its roughly £12 each for full kits with shirt, shorts and socks. Same would cost about £60 each for genuine. Its a no brainer for younger bairns, really.
-
Got my first from Jing, which was a 'player' version, and was generally fine, and has the 'patch' crest and vinyl castore badge. Ordered a couple more (one each for me and my son) but these are supposed to be 'Fans' versions with the embroidered badges. If he ballses those up then the juries out on him.... Haha, so Fingers crossed! But i've said it before, regardless of reviews/orders and others experiences, I think its a pure lottery what will turn up from most of the DHGate sellers.
-
Ouch! Based on those two away shirts, I think the snides are best avoided, unless just for the bairns to knock about in.
-
I think it originally came from him liking Asda (pizza counter) Pizzas, and tweeting a lot about them, before he becme 'connected' and 'ITK'.
-
I think the only time the refs explanation is helpful, was on the first pella call which was disallowed, as it explained that it wasn't given due to a foul in the builld up, which many in the stadium may not have seen. But aye, when its given, just pointing to the spot is clear enough, no need to announce they're giving it too.
