  1. WOW... those comments from Nolan.... straight out of the Keith Bishop propaganda book. Disappointed in Nolan especially given how he left the club after the bonus' row, but as mentioned, maybe he wants the managers job, and just showed himself to be the kind of patsy Mike would love.
  2. Gonna be saying we are great supporters but they couldn't get a deal done, isn't it? Given how the club came out to confirm Rafa was leaving a week before his contract ended, I’m of the opinion any bad news would be broken by the club first. Yep, it was Ashley who ended the talks with Staveley, then she followed it up with her interview with Caulkin. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-takeover-off-mike-ashley-amanda-staveley-owner-walks-away-talks-a8162916.html A source close to Ashley has said: “It is only right to let the fans know that there is no deal on the table or even under discussion with Amanda Staveley and PCP. Attempt to reach a deal have proved to be exhausting, frustrating and a complete waste of time.”
  3. Jack Shit......................which is also the name of a player we a currently monitoring in the French 5th division. Jaques Merde, surely?
  4. Just logged in on the website, and you can pick a team now (at least I've been able to).
  5. So, things now seem to be taking a familiar turn. After weeks of silence, Ashley has seemingly decided to leak stuff... first wanting an update on progress (even though his legal people should be able to tell him), and now a deadline allegedly being set for completion. Next statement... the Tyrekicker/Timewaster one. Probably.
  6. In fairness it was a bit drizzly, with a threat of heavier showers.
  7. I could just about live with that. Until the penny dropped that they’d have to be utter fucknuggets to not want Rafa in the first place. Unless... they tell Ashley they don't want him, and get him to let Rafa go... takeover happens, then they re-appoint him... instant hero status.... similar to what 'Jackie Broon' was alluding to above. Either way, as sad as today is, the Takeover has become the most important thing now, as an NUFC owned by Ashley is just a club not worth supporting anymore.
  8. Clutching at massive straws, but... Maybe BZG didn't want Rafa, and got Ashley to be the bad guy so if (hopefully when) the takeover is finalised, their first act isn't to let Rafa go. As its stands, this decision is currently all on Ashley. Yeah, I know.
  9. its all about him, didn't you know? Even swung his tweet about Rafa round to be about him 'being invited into Rafas team' or some shite. He's an attention seeking cretin.
  10. Well considering the displays are/were in the ground i'd have thought so, as it would mean still having a ticket next season Anyone, anyone going next season and until Ashley has gone is an absolute knacker. Yep, and any protests / banners against Ashley or Pro-Rafa they would have planned in ground, would have been stopped by the stewards anyway. Given the feeling, they probably feel they couldn't just go back and carry on like nowt has happened.
  11. Can everyone just spare a thought for this poor fella tonight... #Pray4Steve
  12. Edwards saying that he doesn't think Rafa is a saint in all this, and maybe he'd actually had enough and wanted to leave??!! He does follow it up by saying that NUFC could have done more to keep him.
  13. Even for that amount, I seriously can't see a manager like Rafa going to China. That will be the Mike Ashley/KBA propaganda machine kicking in, beginning to paint Rafa as greedy/demanding and wanting away for the money.
  14. Right, but once we hire a new manager that would be a huge sign that it’s not going through. As I can’t imagine BZG want Monk. The club could just appoint someone on a 1 yr deal similar to that they offered Rafa (obvs not the wages), and keep up the pretense that its just short-term in case of a takeover.
  15. Actually, Ikea do some biscuits that are very nice/moreish..... like two hard glazed oaty biscuits stuck together with a chocolate glue... sound wierd but they are spot on... stand up well to a dunking, too! Kafferep they are called.
  16. Bowyer, having kept the mackems in the 3rd division for another year... ?
  17. For Staveley there was, but there was nothing regarding Kenyon. Whilst not naming Kenyon, Ashley went on Sky News saying a takeover was 'further on than ever before' around the time Kenyons interested had been reported though, didn't he?
  18. I hope its wrapped up before we go to the Lake District. In August.

Seems that whilst staying at Seaham Hall Hotel, the Spice Girls still preferred to party after the concert in Newcastle/on the Quayside (In Livello, apparently).
  20. They have all went quiet today so far even the Chronicle Ryder will be preparing.... "5 things we have learned about the stadium signage"
  21. But, but, The Chronic said they were just being cleaned??!!!
  22. Sure last year, the young uns wore one of the new kits in a match even before the official pics came out!
  23. ffs... never thought there'd actually be a picture.
  24. I know they claim that MA has signed paperwork, and hopefully that is true... but other than that, this seems to be going all 'Staveley' again. One side appears to be doing all the running and noise making, until Fatboy gets 'frustrated' and pulls the plug with 'Timewasters'. Remember, Staveley showed Caulkin the bids she'd submitted, but MA/the club claimed no bids were made. Lets hope this latest statement prompts some sort of official response from MA's side, so we can either get on the bandwagon, or hoy wa'sells in the Tyne.
