The bitterness runneth deep on one half of Merseyside...
-
Ah man, Eddie finally enjoying it.
-
God damn... such a frustrating game, from the way they set up first half, then the referee, and then us kinda holding on at the end. But WE F*CKING DID IT!!!!!!! TELL ME MA, ME MA....

Is it just me, or is this ref giving us nothing??
-
Just watching this at home tonight, but might have to 'work from home' tomorrow, like.
-
Sorry if it been posted in another thread, but good (post Brighton) Interview with Callum from NUFCTV.. EDIT: Looks like it might be the full version of that on Sky above.
-
Is this why Tony Adams hasn't been on punditry for a while??
-
And all becasue they were still bitter about that match up here, last season.
-
Haha, alll that time to sub the keeper, then as soon as he took the kick, ref blew the whistle.
-
Some say its boring for Man City to win it again, but they know how to win it. They were a bit indifferent early season, then when it mattered, they've kicked into gear and been relentless. Arsenal on the other hand, spent a lot of the season top, but instead of enjoying it, they (the club and the fans) became arrogant and entitled when things didn't go their way. Our match down there a prime example. Well done City. Arsenal... ah, shame.

Got a stream on for this match. Celebrated that Villa goal like one of ours on Thursday!!
-
Are Jeff Hendrick and Issac Hayden back from their respective loans now?
-
Yeah, Bruno seems to love it here and seems settled, and with his close family here too. Also, the Sky interview few months back with him and his fiancee, she also seemed very happy here, and of course Matteo is a little geordie! So any talk of other PL teams being in for him, you'd hope/think he's going nowhere unless we wanted to move him on.
-
Nah, straight after the goal he made the 'A' first for little Arthur, then just after, he makes the 'M' which will be for his son.
-
Didn't realise the signifigance of the 'A' he made with his fingers on the highlights, or the shirt he was holding in the dressing room pic, till I saw the other tweets this morning about that little lad, Arthur. Bruno, man.
-
Aye at the time and from where we were sat, he looked off, but then there didn;t seem to be a VAR check delay, and nothing came up on the screen to say VAR checking (as it did for Undav's goal). Watching it back on highlights, he's 'just' on as its played, then van hecke drops back to try and catch him offside, but its too late and Callums away. Sky highlights didn't show the other chance he had a t 4-1, but from memory it was simialr to his first, but steele managed to smother the shot?

My boss is a Brighton fan and was at the match in the away section last night. Says their fans didn't take well to Burn celebrating the way he did after his goal. Oh, shame.

Ah man, what a game, what a night. Had a great time at my first live match in years. Got a sore head and a sore throat this morning!! We started well first half, but I did worry once they pulled one back, with 3 fresh players on too, but credit to us for pushing on, and beating them convinicingly, and realistically, it could have been 5, 6 or 7 with some of the missed chances/saves in the second half. Gutted for little joe, as that looks like a hamstring that'll probably keep him out of the last 2 games (at least). But, onwards we go. One more win will do it, unless Villa do us a favour tomorrow, then we might have top 4 secured before Monday night.

Just checked, he was given a red card for shouting at the linesman against Man City earlier this season, but only got a £30,000 fine and no ban for that. Then for this incident is a the fine and 1 match ban (1 suspended). Marco Silva got a 2 match ban and £20,000 fine after being sent off in the cup match against Man U.

Yep, full statement... https://www.thefa.com/news/2023/may/18/klopp-suspended-180523

Seeing on Twitter that Klopp has been given a two-match touchline ban and fined £75,000 for his comments about ref Paul Tierney. (Mainly from Anfiield fan accounts so not sure of accuracy yet, hence no links)

Honourable mention for Aniston in 'Horrible Bosses' too.

Ah cracking, might pick him one up tomorrow night then.
