  1. I've no problem with the club doing a ballot especially when tickets are difficult enough to get hold of anyway, but charging for the 'privilege' of being in a draw where its quite realistic you could never get anything is exactly the same as gambling. I'm sure I'm not alone in not being able to justify spending £40 odd just for a chance to pay for a ticket
  2. Fair enough...just don't understand how it's never been raised in the media....especially as it is essentially gambling
  3. Plus £20 for 'special membership' to be allowed to take said wheelchair into the ground
  4. Why hasn't more been made or of? Seems like a way of getting a lot of money while actually delivering nothing...as much as I'd want to get a ticket, if I was going to spend £40 on a chance of something I'd put it on euro millions
  5. So from what I've seen...you pay 40 odd quid for a "basic membership" which gives you a chance of getting a ticket? Or am I wrong?....sounds so much like something INEOS would do
  6. Ex Man U players who can't be arsed to play for Man U don't ever work for us.
  7. Still funny just not haha funny. We want Krunchy!!!
  8. He won a two horse race with Rangers when Celtic where having one of their bi-decadely wobbles. Think Emery's achievements at Villa show how poor he was, and the fact that he's on the verge of being sacked by a Saudi team despite having some of the leagues best players. If his name wasn't Gerrard he wouldn't have had a look in
  9. And whoppers like Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard can walk into jobs, demonstrate that they're not good enough then sail off into the sunset with a nicely padded pension fund...then you get tools like Ince spouting that he doesn't get manager jobs because he's black. No mate, it's cos you weren't very good at managing and showed it over a few clubs. It's always been a 'jobs for the boys' culture and probably always will be...hell even Pep wouldn't have had a chance of managing Barcelona if he hadn't been one of their best players in the first place. For every great player that becomes a great manager there 10 great players who ultimately end up being bobbins. Combination of right mentality, right time, right place is what's needed but that's the gold dust everyone's chasing
  10. More likely trip on a bobble on the pitch and fracture his spine in 7 places
  11. No doubt....that'll be the next one to shut soon making car travel around Gateshead and Newcastle virtually impossible. Then again that has always been their intention given the Askew road farce...know Gateshead council are gutted they may have to re-open the bus lane to cars as they continue to make thousands a day off it due to the poor signage, and once in it there's no way out
  12. Man U former staff not doing homework?....never. Almiron to lei ester 7m
  13. I see them the same as Everton....perpetually circling the drain but never quite flush
  14. I never understood this thing about how West ham are considered a real football force? A couple of world cup winners 80 years ago doesn't give them a philosophy anymore than 96/97 gives us rights as entertiners
  15. No wonder Everton are in such a state when their for.er CEO can only spout what is common knowledge... https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-must-agree-saudi-deals-now-to-avoid-points-deduction-keith-wyness/
  16. Bugger that....give him creamed vegetables and soup...any chewing will break his jaw and be out for another 16 weeks
  17. How is it even possible to pick up an 8 week injury on a hamstring without actually using a hamstring....he's gone full Seim de Jong mode now
  18. Must have blinked and missed it
  19. And I'd like a solid gold toilet. The battle won't be with the council, it'll be the loud mouths who would rather see themselves in the paper than actually benefiting anyone

    There's a queue...
  21. Any move that impinges a mm onto a park that no one actually cares about will get the green fannies and eco-warriors frothing at the gash to object and get in the papers claiming to be the saviours of Newcastle parks. Hopefully Ruben's have the balls to tell them to go frot themselves and stand up to the Council
