Probably because its not "shite" and is cold fact. Last season was a pale shadow of an imitation of the season before, but was excused because of injuries. The injuries aren't as extensive this year but the performances are getting worse not better despite "lessons being learned". From what I and many others can see, we might have learned from the lessons but look like trying to make the results worse. Yes we might only be 3 points from Europe, but so are half the league. We're dropping points left right and centre in matches we really shouldn't be

City haven't done anything miraculous. They spent their way to the top the same way Chelsea did for a while, the same way PSG did. When they got there, then they built to ensure they stayed there. I'd wager now that with the strength of their academy they could play their current u16 team and comfortably get to the upper regions of the championship

We've done this for as long as I remember....and it continues to bite us in terms of having an ageing/injured squad with little value. From a pure numbers perspective Bruno would be the most beneficial to sell if anyone of our obvious 3 has to go...he's probably as good as he is going to get coming up to 28. A new contract for him will only raise his wage while he's with us while his value falls.

I've got no problem with rules as long as they're applied to everyone...not just the non-rich 6.
