  1. Can see him walking Martin Luther style and nailing to the PL doors the new rules. The UK tax payer must pay for all Man U facilities Man U are allowed to have any player in the world for free if they want them Automatic qualification for Champions league regardless, because it's Man U Man U can set rules for others but don't have to abide by them...divine right No team is allowed to visit Old Trafford without agreeing to a -2 goal start As we are truly divine our word is gospel and must be adhered to unless it doesn't suit us It has been spoken. Actually Jim does have a slight resemblance to Kuill
  2. Just waiting on the cheque from the hotel clearing
  3. In a world of criminals the only crime is getting caught
  4. Does anyone know what happened to Pinas? Looked half decent in that 97 tournament where Tomasson looked like the player he ended up being
  5. This exactly...anyone with an up to date copy of Football Manager can find a decent player. Serious clubs with AI driven data can refine this down to what player x had for breakfast for the last few years
  6. Of course he is...this will be where England play a blinding game and he looks like prime Schmeichel...Peter not Kasper, and Chelsea come offering 25m
  7. Finding a full international, playing for one of the best teams in one of the top leagues. Give them a pat on the back. Ps Arsenal scouts are total geniuses for finding raw unproven talents like Isak...word is he could be one of the best
  8. According to reports, despite having a name similar to Brian Pinas, they are not in fact related. Edwards tomorrow
  9. We're not allowed to mention mistakes that are repeated, cos apparently they never happen according to some
  10. Not sure how the expiry of this clause is a good thing. Just means that if any offers come in they'll be total pisstakes rather than starting at a minimum of 100. Wouldn't be remotely surprised to see Arsenal coming in with an offer of 30m and thinking we have to accept if for pissing stupid rules
  11. Rushing players back from injury only to have them out for longer Persisting with Burn at LB when obvious better options were available
  12. Not really relevant...I can count on one hand how many semi successful attackers we've brought through in my lifetime, and not a single one which could be seen as prolific Ameobi - hit and miss at best Armstrong - nothing for us and only looked decent in the Championship Carroll - a half season purple patch and a donkey since then

Could be a delightful new record for incompetence to compliment their record low points finishes
  14. Well if they do, why are they persisting with players they know aren't good enough?
  15. How's the air up on that massive horse? I didn't say there was no interest in the youth set up at all, just that there must be an attacker in there somewhere that has some degree of promise. Fully aware I'm no football manager in the slightest, but I can like the majority on here can see when mistakes are being made, and continuously repeated. EH is amazing at the job, but he does have some obvious blindspots which have and will in future cost us points

Not fair...he's not even been appointed and they already want him out
  17. No one immediately springs to mind, but we must have someone in one of the U-x teams that has glimmer of talent. If not why are they there at all?
  18. That's a decent point, but there's virtually no guarantees he'll actually be any good in the pl. We've had several players come from the Eredivise who tore it up over there and were worse than useless here.
  19. I said this before and was shot down. Totally agree. Just smells so inevitable that if we do sign him, he'll rupture his achillies in his first 5 mins on the pitch. Would rather take a chance on an unknown quantity, or heaven forbid, actually promote a reserve
  20. He's going to have the best garden since the Gateshead Garden Festival. Maybe he could reboot it for a year or so. Don't think that would violate his contract terms and would certainly distract him from making yet another schoolboy error in terms of football
  21. It's exactly this. We've never been in a position where we can sell an untested player for a large sum, and the fact that the money being touted is making people afraid that we're basically giving away the next Messi/Ronaldo/Mbappe. If we keep him and he turns out garbage in the PL the same lot will be kicking off that we didn't cash in when we had the chance. If we keep him and he ends up awesome great...everyone's happy. If we sell and he's great, then we haven't really missed out on something we never really had, but have a healthier financial position. If we sell and he's rubbish, it'll be the best decision since bringing Howe in.

Only Sewpa Kev or Bally would get them excited. Personally it's Catts for me
  23. Everything we've seen this season suggests they are not the best at sports medicine. I know nothing about it, but having several hundred days of injuries more than anyone else really doesn't say we've got the best
  24. No. If you did you clearly misunderstood the post. Rivere was a gamble that no one actually knew would work or not. Obviously it didn't. DCL is a clear and obvious accident waiting to happen for us. A not particularly great player with a terrible injury record joing the team with the worst history of injuries in recent history
