This the same guy that was supposed to sponsor Haas F1 team then got binned cos he didn't actually have the money to pay the sponsorship?
  5. Made some really good ones too though...Solano probably the best

Think it was Maldini that said if you have to make a tackle, you've already made a mistake

When it's the best they've had for 20 odd years it's the best they can look back at

Well when your best managers in the last 30 years have been Peter Reid, Steve Bruce and Roy Keane, there may be a certain nostalgic logic There's a few on here still pining for Keegan to come back to us as manager

Cos they haven't actually got any money?
  14. As they technically currently are :-) A guy who only has access to interest from a trust fund, and a couple of chancers who took their parachute payments to pay for the club itself, and some magical Uruguayan who is hailed as a saviour but has yet to actually put a penny in barring buying his stake.
  15. Why is this Louis Dreyfus perceived as particularly rich? Its well documented that he only has what his mother lets him, which is the interest on a trust fund which he has to share with his siblings. Mike Ashley makes him look poor in wallpaper terms.
  16. Presumably with google maps? Which always goes with no traffic at off peak times. In that situation it might be do-able, assuming you don't have to park, or hit any kind of obstruction whatsoever...and manage to avoid the absurd bus-lane scheme in Gateshead which no nav system has picked up yet.
  17. Guess you have a flying Delorean then? Thats at least a half an hour drive unless you've got some hidden route that avoids anything like a main road or you have no fear of speed limits at all
  18. Think a lot would be diagnosed as psychopath if tested. As HTT said...being a psychopath doesn't make you a murderer
  19. It's exactly how democracy works, unless you want to make voting mandatory, and then it stops being democracy
  20. Its exactly true. Yes in total more people voted against them, but they still got the highest number out of any available. You dont win an election by who likes you, you win by getting the most votes
  21. Well you could try voting? We have a Conservative Government because more people chose them than not. We have Boris as a prime minister because more people chose to sit on their arse and whinge on election day than doing anything. Country really is the epitome of Newcastle support

They'll never get over the nostalgia thing in the same way we haven't. There have been people here seriously wanting Keegan back as a manager even though he was 10 years out of date 10 years ago. Difference is he was good for us, while Baaaaalllly was a bang average player at their best and essentially the pre-cursor of 'Catts for me like'.
