Middling teams would love him aye. Clubs with ambition to win at the highest level though? Not convinced.

He's not a natural finisher and he isn't a striker it isn't something we should hold against him. Players of similar calibre also fluff those chances.

Very true, debate is needed last thing we want is an echo chamber. My definition of a good poster is someone who poses sincerely don't expect them to agree with me. A negotiatior doesn't help much imo, because all the players we missed out on eventually went to clubs with a better standing than what we have. We were punch drunk ok our cup success and forgot it's a cup nobody really cared about outside of Newcastle. I think generally Eddie is pretty clear in what he wants, it's why we hear the often repeated small pool or players and always to back for old targets. In terms of Wilson, it's where the alarm bells ring for me mind. He's a bit or nobody and doesn't have the reputation to bring in players of the next level. I do wonder how much influence he had a forest as well mind, marinakis doesn't strike me as the type to have over the reigns to anyone. If we want to be a top class club we need best in class and I dont think Ross Wilson has ever done anything to warrant that. We absolutely need a plan going in to the summer but I can't say I'm full of confidence given what we've got.

I don't think they were criminal personally, he does need to be hitting the target mind. Give the keeper something to do.

Obviously a player like Brobbey is Kryptonite to players who lack mobility, unfortunately we've got ourselves into a position whereby 3 of our centre halves can barely turn and the other has a mistake or two in him.
-
We obviously differ on a couple of points but I do respect your POV. one thing I could never quite grasp about last summer is what people think would have been different? Hand on heart we know the players we bought are the ones he wanted like.
-
The way our midfield sets up only works if out defense can push up but they lack pace and drop off creating loads of space in front of them. Been an issue for awhile and a factor in us concerning loads of goals.
-
We've been consistently inconsistent all season. And I do get the argument of giving him more time, however personally speaking I'm terrified of giving him or his nephew anymore money to spend. The system appears to no longer work, it looks like we've been well and truly figured out. Alarmingly regarding the final point I don't think a "settled" summer exists for us whilst we have players which cartel clubs want, it just becomes a question of who is this summer's big departure.
-
I think the issue with this line of thinking is we've been flapping around for awhile now with no signs of him being able to change it and we are rapidly reaching a crossroads where we continue to plough on spend more money or we make a break. As things stands right now I don't know which is the better option personally. I said awhile back that for me, he stays until the end of the season and we review it then. If we finish bottom half my finger would be itchy though and this sentiment is prior to yesterdays shambles.

I think he's a poor finisher generally and really wouldn't want him playing up front long term. He's got pace but that's about it, we'd basically be looking ourselves into a transitional style (which is fine but we might as well go get a striker who offers us more than just pace it that's the case). Not being the finished article is something often repeated but how much more improvement are we expecting out of players who are 24? For me they are practically the finished article at that age with only minor polishing left.

What kind of conversations do you want to take place?

Nah defeatism was what we witnessed on the park.
-
Rationally speaking if I'm Bruno absolutely. not sure about you but I'm capable of seeing things from more than one perspective.
-
If Bruno has any sense whatsoever he will be running for the hills.
-
Aye we need to make a police report because we've been robbed blind.
-
Thought he took that goal really well, had me thinking he's a striker for a second. Then I saw the other chances and thought nah. Not the worst of our lot today but faded badly.
-
Aye was being flippant. was more a reference to in terms of performance on the pitch we can't place too much blame on a CEO. He has to be accountable though so has to be ready to mark hard decisions.
-
Idk about anyone else but for me the ceos job is basically sign documents and make sure the football club is ticking. He's not going to have much if any input into the football side, it's not his area of expertise.

What you don't like the massive gap left which is voted by "checks notes* the rapid Sven Botman? It's rancid and someone should have a word.
-
They've bet the house on him, so if they do act it will be really a major upheaval.
-
Thinking about where he will be off to in the summer.
-
Data guy is locked in a cupboard playing WOW.

Sticking with my previous unhappy vote. Today was a major blow but wouldn't want to give them the satisfaction of binning him now.
