When the ball was played to Jaanmat the only player in an offside position was Perez in the middle. Not interfering with play but when the ball was crossed Perez flicked it on to Mitro and he made himself active hence the offside decision to disallow the goal.

Why on earth would you play Thauvin, a left winger, on the right. He will be cutting in at every opportunity to get the ball on his left peg, so no crosses from the right for Mitro.

Keegan did alright with a duff defence. Anyway, we've added two central defenders to the squad not just the one, and still have Good, Satka, Damnit, Tayls, Williamson and Colo fighting it out. Imagine we need to get rid of a couple before expecting another one in. Our so called duff defence only conceded setting like 25 goals when we came 2nd to Manure. Only manure conceded less goals so it's a misnomer that we had a duff defence.

Matip looked good for schalke last weekend. He ran out of defence with ball twice and played defence splitting passes to the striker who scored from both passes. Got to go for him. He's a defender and a creative midfielder in one.

If its Carver then the club will be the laughing stock of Europe never mind the UK.

Would like to see him play centre forward once he puts on a couple of stone. Good quick feet got the height and would be hard to knock off the ball.

We can all debate whether or not he is going to really invest in the team until the cows come home, all we can really do is wait and see if he does.
