Congrats Dinho

To be fair to the horrible b******, if he genuinely wants to sell he isn't going to get a better opportunity than this. His gamble with spending has paid off, the manager is working wonders and the fans are all pulling in the same direction. It's only going downhill from here. If he does want to sell, this summer is the moment. One could argue he's played it perfectly. It’s just a shame his asking price is going to be tens of millions more than the actual value.

It’s just the complete and utter double standards like. Any club outside the top sides and there is no hope in hell that decision gets overturned. -

Posted in the ticket thread but it’ll probably get more vieweing here. -
Lewis Cook has 0 in a similar amount of appearances, this season & last. Jordan Henderson has 1 this season, 1 last season. Jake Livermore has 0 this season, 1 last season. Eric Dier has 0 this season, 2 last season. All of their assists are similarly low. For whatever that is worth. People are not arguing that Jonjo Shelvey is Frank Lampard. They're arguing that he's a better option than Jake fucking Livermore.

Unbelievable. -
Erm... how would he ever be called up by England? He’s already played for Wales.
-
I watched that Tony Gale interview earlier, it was full of Pardewisms. “In Alan’s defence he tries to play front foot football and the team weren’t used to that because of Pulis” “It was an impossible job”
-
They’d need a similar season of a £0 transfer budget and losing a lot of their current team. Sadly, I think they’ll get a takeover in the summer and get promoted. Finishing in the playoffs or lower would be absolutely hilarious though. Losing in the playoffs would be the next best scenario after relegation

Having seen Southampton’s last few fixtures, I reckon they’ll get out of it. Leicester (a), Bournemouth (h), Everton (a) are all really winnable games. They’ve also got Chelsea at home next which isn’t the fearful fixture that it usually would be. I can see Huddersfield dropping unless they pull some results out of the bag. They easily have the worst run-in of all of the teams down there.

Aye, think he means that seats are usually priced more expensively than standing.
-
Aye - I’ve always been told/thought Kitson.

Has the potential to become a huge, huge fan favourite here like. Just depends if his own personal ability/ambition outgrows the club. It probably will under Ashley, hopefully we’ll be sold and we can grow with him.

Can someone please explain to me the format of the Belgian 2nd division? Why does the team finishing 2nd go into a group format to try and qualify for the Europa League? Yet the team finishing 3rd gets promoted? What?
-
Obviously that was a sentimental post about how much I love him, rather than a serious football business post. But when Rafa wont get a single penny from the sale anyway, it doesn’t make much difference anyway

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/news/black-cats-welcome-2253615.html Brilliant idea by the club that, a great gesture and they’ll benefit from increased ale sales.
-
Him joining another English club would be fucking torturous. I’d rather flog him for £10m less abroad.

Standing in all seater stadiums is much more dangerous than standing in a safe standing stadium. They’ve never been able to stop standing so why not make it safer?

Why would he play a weakened team in the Europa League? That literally makes no sense. They're 4-1 up, can probably afford to rest a couple if they want to. Rest them for what? The league is pointless for them as they’ll finish exactly where they are. Winning the Europa League will get them Champions League football next season, even if they were 5-0 up I’d expect them to take that much more seriously than our game. They’ve also shipped a few goals recently including at home against Southampton and Ostersunds so a 3-0 defeat and elimination would not be against the cards if they start risking resting players. -

Carr was thrown under the bus by Ashley like. He had some excellent links and scouted some excellent players, if Ashley had actually paid the going rate for the players Carr wanted then we could have had some fantastic players at the club. Carr’s ‘flops’ are actually players he was forced to scout and about 10th on his list, because we had no transfer or wage budget.
