Well I, for one, didn't suggest that. Despite my point...I do think the club should give him what he's due and sack him pronto. Would rather have temp staff in charge than a dead-manat walking. Yeah it wasn't aimed at you and was a bit of an exaggeration, just to clear that up.

However financially secure you are, let's say his compo is 1 million, that's still an absolutely huge amount to walk away from for no good reason at 50 something with an uncertain future income. It's not like him resigning right now would even particularly help the club.

Can see him carving out a similar career to the likes of Pulis/Allardyce. Goes to a lower Prem/higher Champ side, upturn in results for about 12-18 months, fans get bored of the football and results downturn, rinse and repeat. Even has the echoes of fat Sam with the suggestions he should be getting the bigger jobs when the goings good.

The main problem is he as a man just doesn't seem inspiring, I actually don't think the way he sets us up is usually that bad (3 at the back experiments aside). I just can't picture him getting the players to run that extra yard for him and don't really see that ever changing. Almost anyone on this board could pick an eleven, put them in a reasonable formation and tell them how you want them to play. It's actually getting them to do that successfully which is the hard part, and he just doesn't seem to be able to.

Wonder how often you even get to speak to Ashley at any meaningful length as head coach, imagine you're mainly sending messages through Charnley. Doubt he'd listen to pretty much anyone telling him he's doing anything in anyway wrong anyway tbh

Psg have basically ruined the French league like to a much greater extent than Chelsea ever did to ours. Can you imagine being a supporter of one of the more traditionally big French teams? Leicester now 12 points clear of Man United with 12 games to play. If Leicester suddenly drop to 1 point per game (relegation form) and Man United raise to 2 points per game (which would've had them 1 point behind Leicester in second over the season) they would still only end up level on points. I know it sounds underwhelming considering they're top but them getting champions league is still a very big deal, and bar a huge shock is now almost nailed on. Really pleased for them.
