  1. Fair play for accepting it. You'll need to teach me how to do that some day. I guess you could start with the Somalian/Kenyan/England B intentional wind-up from about a week ago That's a wind up. I see a lot of "us" referring to England, yet you say you're Kenyan. I don't even know where the Somali bit comes from. Maybe you're a pirate because you stole an Englishmans identity? NOW YOU GET IT! f***ing hell Froggy, you're sharper than you look seem on an online forum. To be honest, I don't know where the Somali thing actually came from  If you want the truth, I was born in Nairobi and I have lived in England most of my life...I consider myself both English and Kenyan (particularly as I only hold a British passport now). I support both in international sport, because I'm selfish like that. In the Olympics, I tend to gravitate towards Kenya a bit more I guess, and I doubt our football teams will be meeting any time soon when the Kenyans are so f***ing corrupt it actually makes Blatter seem like a good guy. Fun fact- I struggle to identify vowels. Here you are Ndegwa, don't say I never do anything for you mate... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ-1DYwaxrE
  2. England have played the worst team in the group and ended up with a point. Hopefully Wales and Slovakia have a go at them, because I wouldn't bank on England being able to break down teams that sit deep. Better sides in the tournament have struggled against parked buses and England are insistent on keeping one hand tied behind their back. Both sides they have yet to face already have three points on the board and no incentive to chase a win though. They might still do it, but I'd not bank on it is all. Luckily this new format only punishes the really weak anyway so a draw more might be enough anyway. Yep, good points. That said, had to stop myself 'doing a SMc/they'll be fine if they keep playing like that' and extolling the virtues of the performance against Russia (ignoring the fact they should've but couldn't win).
  3. I think (and hope) that England have the beating of Wales and Slovakia. Really hope he plays two strikers and gives the opposition something more to worry about; Dier and Alli are worth three Welsh players in midfield. Would be nice to see Wales turn over Russia too. The sense of karma would be lovely if all but Russia went through.
  4. We you English did. Hammered them 1-1. A bit like NUFC hammered Man Yoo 0-1 in 1996.
  5. Number 17! Even luckier!! St Pat's day blessings upon ye, you beautiful righter of wrongs! ☘
  6. I'm a Slovak-paddy today: "Let’s stop them brothers, they will be lost, Slovaks will rise alive. Let’s stop them brothers, they will be lost, Slovaks will rise alive." ☘
  7. So a draw it was then. Ah, well. Fair play. We shaded it on shots. They shaded it on colleens... I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would...
  8. What a fine filly! I bet she has a fine pair of strong ankles on her as well. And a handcuff necklace... dirty wee hussy... Call the shocklehorn, Oi tink oim in love
  9. Yep. Him and Griezmann also. Chuck Pogba into the mix and it is hard to see them not being very difficult to beat, despite the questions about their defence and centre forward. I think Germany or Spain would beat them without too much trouble Really like the look of them too. Just have an inkling towards France. Greizmann and Kante are both phenomenal and will dominate most midfields: compare and contrast Vurn & Jack!!

  12. Bien joué K.K. & F. suspect it's going to be a grand old tournament for you Frenchys ☘
  13. Personally, I would be delighted and shocked in equal measure to hear he's staying. I don't read his quote or his performances as reflecting anything toxic. He strikes me as being best suited to be a central attacking midfielder and should be consistently played as such (if it fits into Rafa's way). Plenty of top quality players would look mediocre if not selected to do the right job, and increasingly so as their self confidence diminished and frustration increased with poor results and 'coaching' . SMc's negative set-up and seeming over concern with negating the opposition cost us big style last season, we can't have been many worse away records despite magnificent away support.
  14. Personally, I would be delighted to see him live up to the values I thought he had (when he arrived)and stay and make reparation for relegation, by tearing the Championship apart ( home and AWAY). However, on non-verbals v Spurs alone, I would be shocked if he and Janmaat weren't metaphorically sprinting for the door. I would have added Sissoko to that, but sadly he couldn't be arsed to compete.
  15. Toodle-pip medium to big sized fella (for a centre back). Thank you for giving us what you did/could. May the road rise to meet you...
  16. You have got be fucking joking. If that's not the work-experience-kid's efforts--actually, even if it is, it will have passed before an editor--then it stretches the concept of a professional 'wordsmith' beyond the point of usefulness.
