  1. Can see why Messi bottled the challenge of coming to the Premier League after a half of football like that.
  2. Like the Juve kit to be honest. Think third kits should be a bit mental and unique. Kinda how the old keeper kits used to be.

The Ramble European show is actually pretty good. Andy Brassel and Lars Sivertsen with Dotun hosting it these days.

Still quite like the Totally football show with James Richardson.
  5. I remember him from a few away games about 10 years ago
  6. Looks like they've for some reason chose to use their performance model hoody (being windproof, waterproof) for merch. So whilst the price alings with their other products in that range it's not what the average fan is looking for. Fans aren't looking for performance materials just something clean with the badge on. The golf gear looks alright but other than that their ranges all look pretty shit and cheap regardless of the materials being used. Seem to remember Rangers fans having pages of complaints about the quality of their shirts which doesn't really fit with the brand trying to pass themselves of as elite and luxury.
  7. Wasn't aimed at you or anyone personally I know how hard it is to organise any sort of substantial protest having been part of them in the past and the frustration that comes with it. Just pointing out there's those that are happy to pay for sports subscriptions that help fund Ashley, those who were happy to line his pockets and go when Rafa was there. Those that won't go but won't be part of any other type of protest. Everyone has a different level of what they are willing to accept, overlook or compromise on so they can try and get some enjoyment out of the game again. Most would be happy to go back if the Saudis took over, happy to have the club used as sportwahsing exercise by people who've committed abhorrent acts if it meant more chance of success. It's easy to argue that that could be seen as a far more selfish attitude. Being honest I'd be back in that scenario too. Probably makes me a hypocrite. So as much as I can disgaree with people going under Ashley now it's daft to resort to abuse because their justifications don't align with my own.
  8. Agreed, to be honest. I'll personally not put a penny into the club under Ashley (even when Rafa was here) but some of the abuse towards fans who go definitely crosses the line at times. There's parents who want to take their kids to the games, want that experience of them falling in love with the club and the games. People like my grandad who barely get out of the house other than to go to the games and see their mates who they've been going with for forever. He probably doesn't even know half the squad anymore but still enjoys the experience of a matchday. It maybe shortsighted or misguided but there's still fans who want to get some enjoyment out of it all. Even if it's just watching on TV and celebrating a win or a goal. It gets a bit tiring the same folk coming into every matchday thread celebrating every loss, wanting us to get relegated and then blaming it all on the fans. I'd support them if they were using that same time and energy trying to do something about it. Sat at home watching on your sky sports subscription glued to the forum slagging off fans going to the game for having no life doesn't really make you as superior as people seem to think.
  9. Skysports YouTube have highlights of all the games. Mainly just goals, like.
  10. Priced pretty fairly I think? Was about that last time he was at Man United and he's a much better player in a better team now.

    Joe Willock

We'd be stupid to agree to 3 years mind. Im not sure what he's got to be worried about on a long term deal to be honest. He covers himself if things go tits up and if he performs well we'll undoubtedly be looking to sell him on.
  12. He's pretty much carried Barca on his own the last few years whilst the club has been run horrifcly. Must be frustrating as fuck being the best player that's ever played and your lining up along side Martin Braithwaite. It's fair enough him going PSG for a couple of years playing with his mates in a world class squad and having a shot at the champions League again. Will allow him to be in the best shape for the World Cup too, much less intense league campaing being rested whenever he needs it.
  13. Would be quite funny if Messi signing for PSG is the catalyst for Mbappe turning down an extension there and joining Madrid on a free next season.
  14. No idea how reliable this is but claims were Villa offered him more. https://mobile.twitter.com/SkyKaveh/status/1423180968781811715
  15. Obviously wages and sign on fee are going to be ridiculous but getting Messi on a free is absurd
  16. Lukaku suffered from a fair few horrific touches and attempts at controlling the ball particularly at Man United. Think he even injured himself one time trying to trap the ball. In isolation these wouldn't be so bad but there was definitely segments on Sky Sports/MOTD analysing parts of his game and compiling these clips that gave off the impression it was a much bigger problem than it was. His somewhat unconventional style of play and size sort of added to the unfair narrative that he wasn't a great technical player. He's brilliant though, think he's a lot more versatile and efficient now since he was last in the league and can't see him being anything other than a massive success in that Chelsea side.
  17. All they need to do is pay for players in Installments and sell Willock to us for ÂŁ20m. Now they have a positive net spend.
  18. That doesn't really seem City's style in the transfer market. They spend alot but usually players from the second price range bracket not the top. For them to go and spend 100m on him Pep must really want him and have a plan for him imo. I'm shocked people don't think he'll be a big part of their first team plans.
  19. It's a good price in the sense that I don't think they'd get any other club to stump up that sort of cash if they were wanting to sell. But I don't think they need the money, and could probably easily afford to splash out on a few players alongside him to help make a push for a European spot. To Villa I reckon he's worth more than 100m in the kitty. Only thing that makes sense is he wants away or there was some sort of agreement in place to allow him to leave if City came in for him.
  20. Varane has looked pretty poor to average alot of the times I've seen him play without Ramos for Madrid. Together he looks a different palyer. Think he could work well with Maguire though and has the pace to bail him out. Having a player of that calibre is only going to instill more confidence across the side defensively too.
  21. Love Rafa but I'd get absolutely no enjoyment out of seeing Everton do well, like. If the clowns in the media and amongst our own fanbase can't appreciate how good of a job he did here that's on them. WE know, and nothing he does elsewhere will change that. He's got nothing to prove to anyone with what he's achieved in the game. The Scouse mackems will never properly appreciate or accept him regardless. I'm hoping it goes shite, he can walkaway with a good payoff and get himself a nice little gig abroad.
  22. It also states "According to the British media, the arrest of the player – later released on bail – whose personal details have not been officially disclosed for privacy reasons, was carried out by the Greater Manchester Police"
  23. Says he's a regular for his International side too.
  24. How much can get the press get away with, without actually naming someone in cases like this? I mean they've basically made him the only possible player it could be with how descriptive they've been
  25. Have to say my first reaction after the excitement of the goal wore of was "fuck, we've scored too early".
