  1. We've essentially gone to OT and took the piss out of them for 45 minutes with a meme lineup. Redcafe must be laughs right now.
  2. Few posters going to have to delete the posts they had saved ready for FT having a go at spending £60m on these fullbacks.
  3. Ridiculous that's not a red simply because the ref doesn't fancy sending him off.
  4. If only the Glazers gave them some proper backing they wouldn't have to struggle fielding a second string side with a serial Champions league winner in midfield and multiple £50+ m signings.
  5. Thought Mount was actually a somewhat decent signing compared to the others and he'd be quite effective whilst nowt spectacular. He's looked absolutely invisible everytime I've seen him for them.
  6. Always annoys me whe there's a clear aggressor in instances like that that both players get a card each
  7. Was probably hoping the experience of Trippier and Burn could see them through it or we could use them to try and nick it from a set piece. You probably won't see many managers subbing out half their back four for two kids who've barely kicked a ball all season whilst drawing a game like that. The injuries and fatigue is really killing us, mind. It's going to be a tough run in until the next international break.
  8. Defending was terrible after the punch too, mind. About 5 players dived in
  9. That was an equally terrible and hilarious half of football.
  10. Who exactly should he be rotating? We can barely put a bench out man
  11. Spurs are a better side than most want to give them credit for I think. Be surprised if they're not challenging for top 4 towards the end of the season.
  12. If you aren't allowed to bet on sports and you know you have done, why would you tell a team trying to sign you? It's not just a case of him not getting the move, he'd be grassing on himself and investigated for something he probably thought he could get away from. You can't compare it to a normal job where gambling isn't breaking any rules.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I'd imagine Tino or Hall would would get the nod over Ritchie on the wing if we were that desperate.
  14. Yup. They sold around £200m in the summer alone..
  15. Of course we are going to pay him, man. The club can't come out and say they are going to support him fully through his battle with addiction but then also not pay him his contract for 10 months
  16. I mean he came on tonight and instantly improved our midfield for a start
  17. Aye it was really poor tonight. Felt like the majority just turned up expecting us to hammer Dortmund.
  18. They were well organised and showed their experience. Lots of tactical fouling, good discipline out of possession but used it well when they had it and played some decent stuff at times. We probably just about deserved a draw after the second half but it never felt like we really ramped up the pressure on them as much as you'd expect. A lot of sloppy touches and passes mixed with the poor weather conditions and a few players looking fatigued.
  19. Trippier was 'banned from all football and football related activity' as well similar to Toney. To be honest I'm not even sure what that means other than not being allowed to play or train Both were punishments from the English FA. Surely there's no way they try and apply similar to Tonali here if the Italian ruling is simply banned from playing?
  20. Top 10 is probably the most competitive it's been in forever this season but the bottom half are all fairly terrible. There's some awful sides down there that won't even face any danger of relegation due to the promoted ones and Bournemouth stinking it up.
  21. None of the snooker players who were caught throwing games faced any sort of legal trouble AFAIK.
  22. I think the biggest difference is the way they use it to try and catch teams offside so much. Since Emery came they must be way out ahead of anyone else in terms of offsides against them. They will probably get battered a few times this season because of it but it seems to be really effective against a lot of sides. I think other than us it's only really been Liverpool who's exploited it properly this season. It's quite nice from a neutral perspective that the sides like ourselves, Villa and Brighton trying to disrupt the top 6 are all doing with with totally different styles of football. As soon as any of us lose a game though the 'found out' allegations seem to start
  23. There's a big difference between insider knowledge (which is not illegal at all) and insider trading to be fair. The bookies use insider information all the time to adjust odds on markets. The Trippier ban was kind of ridiculous as that was based on 'insider information'. Essentially banned for telling his mates who he was signing for. Yet Sky Sports are allowed to just make up transfer stories and offer odds on them though skybet at the same time.
