It just feels like there's so little riding on each game from a neutral POV. Obviously if you're a Villa fan for example you'd be wanting them to finish in the top 8, but as a neutral it's hard to care where a team finishes from 1st-24th spot. Psg v City might be the only interesting fixture out of this whole league.

I think Man United and Spurs are both perfectly fine being able to hide behind PSR. I don't think either clubs want to spend anymore than they already do ideally. Not even sure if Spurs try and push their spending to its limits already, I think they in particular will know that they'd fall much further away from the current top 6 and be leapfrogged by ourselves and Villa pretty sharphish.

He came in when Man U were 4 points of a champions league place. It's not really good enough to just rack up losses each week and come out with statements like aye we're a bit shite aren't we? Whilst being the one directly responsible for that playing a system that doesn't suit the current squad It just seems mad to write off a season with the hope that backing him loads in the summer to buy specific players for a formation will help fix it all. It's not even like he has a massive resume of past success over a number of years with different sides where you could base the confidence off.

Bournemouth played it brilliantly to be fair. We've done the exact same to plenty of teams ourselves. Caught us cold out of the blocks and then never really allowed us to settle. Pressured us extremely well and capitalised on our errors.

DCL on a free is a sensible signing like. Not sure what people are expecting, really. We need a backup striker that's happy to come in knowing he's got no chance of being a starter with Isak here. Seems like a good lad too if you can get over the fume that he doesn't wear bootcut jeans and sambas.

I mean he might not quite be at the Henry level but the thing that makes him so valuable is he's playing in era where the number of world class strikers must be at an all time low. I'm genuinely not sure if any side could afford him right now.

There's something quite refreshingly simplistic about his game. I guess because nearly every side plays with inverted wingers these days you don't really see just that ball out of feet create half a yard for a cross or shot across goal much anymore.

It's extremely rare for a CM to have that level of technique, engine and pace like. He's really special.

Felt like he struggled with the pressure of playing for a bigger club. He looked a nervous wreck anytime he got a chance particularly towards the end of his time here.
