The Benfica fans who posted on here did seem pretty confident he wasn't very good. Reckon there's a lot of clubs relieved they didn't spend that sort of money on him now.
-
Forest might be the best offer he gets in the prem for a while. I reckon he'll take it if offered.

An hour ago it was all doom and gloom. 3 nil up away from home and 6th in the table.
-
That's outrageous
-
Aye, that's probably fair. Chisea and Verratti too when fit. Not sure about Donnarumma though, think he's been pretty poor since he left Milan and always got a massive error in him.
-
There can't be many out of that lot tonight who'd get into our squad never mind starting 11.
-
Rice Bellingham Saka Foden Sterling Kane Something like that has to be our best setup surely? There's Grealish, Maddison, Sancho who could slot into that easily too.
-
Keepers at that level are pretty much always blokes who want to play but are too shit to play outfield. Usually overweight and turn up hungover
-
Amazing how many shite kits their are for this World Cup.
-
Think if you look at most successful midfield threes who play in a similar system then they all feature a proper anchor player. City with Fernandinho now Rodri, Barca with Busquets, Madrid with Casemiro, Liverpool with Fabinho, PSGs midfield always looked the best when they had Motta in that role.
-
His treatment of James and Digne didn't help either, like. Two of their better attacking players forced out isn't going to win the fans or dressing room over.
-
Posted this a while back, he has the dribbling ability and stats to back it up and naturally plays in the channels and drifts wide anyway. There's nothing to suggest he wouldn't do a good job outwide in the current system. He'd essentially be a forward starting outwide like Ronaldo was at Madrid not an out and out winger.

Lampard has done a decent job sorting their defence and midfield out this season.

Will need to see how Brighton perform under their new coach but losing Potter and all their staff could have a big impact on their push for top 7. Expect them to drop off a bit. West Ham will have European games midweek for a while, and whilst they have a bigger squad this year all the travel and less time to prepare for games doesn't make it easy. There's no standout favourite for 7th so far IMO. We just need to be in the mix come January.
-
No chance Tuchel goes anywhere near it IMO. They are skint, sacking Rodgers will cost a fortune and they are going to lose Tielemans on a free and probably have to sell Maddison on the cheap before he does the same. It's not a great gig to take on for a lot of managers.
-
I'm not sure if it's a 'luxury' but more clearly someone who they've identified as the long term first choice option at CB and didn't want to risk losing out on. There's probably the argument to be made we'd have been better off this season with Burn at CB and using those funds for a winger or a Maddison type signing but long term it makes sense.
-
This guy always seems to take ages to recover, and even when he's back fit it takes him a fair while to get back up to speed again. Agree with Kaka ideally we need two wingers. You can't rely on him to stay fit at all and just view it as a bonus when he is.

An early goal in of these home games would do us wonders, mind. -

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

We've got a lot of players that are good enough for top 7 but far more who are more suited to Championship level. The fact that the arguments against Eddie today are that he should have brought Murphy and Wood on earlier sums up the state of the squad. -
Always going to struggle against a defensive approach when we pretty much have no creativity in the front 6 other than Bruno who's the furthest back.
-
Get in Swedish Howe's Mafia.
-
If that's not a pen I've giving up on the sport.

How've we not scored there man
