Every time I’ve seen Anderson in a Newcastle shirt, he looks well out of his depth. -

Murphy has zero awareness of anything around him on the pitch when he’s actually on the ball. -
If the Thuram report has any truth to it, I’d be seriously concerned if I was a Chelsea fan. There’s no visible strategy to anything they’re doing.
-
Excellent news, hopefully this is the start of some of our best prospects getting loaned out for the rest of the season.
-
I could somewhat see the rationale in a move for McTominay in the summer when Longstaff was really out of form. However Longstaff has kicked on a bit this season to be fair to him and I don’t see how McTominay is needed in our midfield. We need a different profile of midfielder.

PIF surely have to go for it this window, give Howe whatever he needs.
-
This will most likely happen, but with Chelsea and Liverpool still stuttering, we have a bigger buffer to other teams than I had anticipated following the World Cup break.

Another Ashworth masterclass coming up.

Think we’re going to probably see a loan with an obligation to buy structure arranged for whoever we get in.

I’d be happy with Gallagher and he’ll definitely be available if Enzo Fernandez signs this window.

Can’t win them all, and a clean sheet is testament to the work ethic and discipline in the squad. One of those games. -
Pelé. A name seamlessly reconfigured as a term to widely denote greatness. A universal language of which every continent across the world is fluent. RIP to an icon who transcended the very sport itself though his enduring brilliance.
-
I think they keep Pulisic at least for this window, but Ziyech will definitely be away.
-
Chelsea will be able to recoup some money back by selling Gallagher, perhaps at around £30m.

Maddison is a wonderful player and I would love him at Newcastle, but his knee injury concerns me a bit. Seems like Leicester just don’t know the exact issue yet or how long he’ll be out for. I don’t think a move for him in January suits any party.
-
Jorginho would be an absolutely brilliant signing. However, it just doesn’t make any sense from a financial perspective, he would be on significantly more than our highest earners.
-
In terms of outgoings, we’re probably looking at: Karius Fraser Ritchie Lewis Manquillo Anderson (on loan) Kuol (on loan)
-
Based on absolutely nothing, I think Tielemans signs a pre-contract agreement with a foreign team next month. I don’t think he will stay in the Premier League.

Brilliant result and this team are just a joy. -
What a player and a lovely tribute to Kalvin Phillips in his goal celebration.
-
I think we need at least 1 more in January to maintain positive momentum. A lot will depend on outgoings as I’m not sure if we actually have any free squad spaces left.
-
Yeah that is horrific. From how high he’s raised his boot and left it in there, there’s deliberate intent to really hurt the player. That Leicester kid has done his ACL and who knows if he’ll ever be the same player after, that could even be his career gone. The Wolves player should be banned for the entire season.

Some reports tonight that PSV are in financial trouble, opportunity to pursue Sangare perhaps?
