The bridge and the angel look far too forced imo.
-
Note to self, fuck accas.
-
Liverpool, Atleti, Blackburn and Cardiff. Tended to knock accas on the head recently as they've never come in for me but couldn't resist with a free bet. £47.42 from £5 if it comes in. Please, for once. Am fucking skint.

Wilson after his pen towards the end. Love that bloke, proper shithouse.
-
4:19, "fucking great ball"
-
Aye, Tindall said post Brentford that they'd hoped they'd have him back for Arsenal. May be able to in fact shithouse having him back, up Eddie's COVID dodging mags.

Spot on. There are individuals who 'don't need much coaching' for want of a better phrase in that side; Ronaldo, Varane, your experienced players if you like. But teams always need coaching, which is why the top coaches like the ones you mentioned are the top coaches. You can have brilliant 1 on 1 coaching and overall team coaching and some are better at one or the other but the two aren't always necessarily mutually exclusive, improving a player will improve the team and vice versa. Brentford on Saturday were an example of a team that's brilliantly coached which Thomas Frank deserves full credit for, as those individuals aren't necessarily top PL level players but they're a good team. Cohesive, movement off the ball, anticipation, etc. This is more of a general topic as I'm unsure what Manchester United necessarily need. Mourinho failed despite a League Cup, Van Gaal failed despite a FA Cup, Solskjaer has failed despite building a brilliant squad of players. Pochettino would probably be the best choice for them, but how long before he comes under fire if he doesn't win a major trophy? Something he's still yet to achieve, as brilliant as he is.

Came across this, this guy has loads of songs about our players, fucking creased listening.

The only change I'd remotely contemplate is a dumbing down of the colours to the scheme of the 125 Years crest from 17-18. The commercial argument doesn't wash to me, it'd pennies. A bit like ticket pricing. Even still, badges on modern football kits across the globe have those iron on sticker things, it wouldn't save much commercially at all.
-
Man City also only went back or at the very least based their current crest on their crest from the late 80s and 90s. Chelsea's went for a modern adaptation of theirs from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Arsenal 'modernised' their badge and still a few of their fans hate it. Brentford's has massively changed and it looks shit imo, West Ham's is also a farce.
-
And long may it continue. That timeline is also very misleading; Leicester have only changed the font, Southampton have only changed the appearance of the football, Watford have only capitalised the club name on theirs from a crest they've had since 1978.
-
Why would it 'blatantly' though? 'We should change it because others have'. Fuck the others. And changing our crest.
-
Really like Juve's kit. Would love that for us, so long as there'd be stripes on the back. And without a minging sponsor.

Nah, nah, talking about the OP of the Howe thread on that forum. It's a certain someone from here with dreadful takes on COVID.
-
The OP, got shiver down the spine seeing that after the discussion on COVID in this thread.
-
Posted an interview he did in the pre match thread, bulk of it is him talking about his time here. He seems a sound lad tbf. Booing opposition players because they were once on our books is embarrassing. Booing/whistling loudly whenever any of the opposition have the ball though, that's something I can get behind and would love to see. We barely do it though.

Was after the restart. I remember Maxi getting 3 assists that day, don't remember Shelvey being great at all.
-
Saturday was the best he's played since Man United (h) in February 2018, when we won 1-0. That day he assisted the goal and worked tirelessly off the ball, closing players down, winning the ball back. The weekend was reminiscent of that, but he simply has to keep that up. When he's like that he's superb.
-
Watched a good chunk of the game back. God he was abysmal when he came on, could barely complete a pass. He's finished imo, wanted to give everyone a clean slate but he's been utter shit for over 2 years now.
-
He's aged quite a bit if so.
-
Aye. Massive games in January for us after too. 2 Jan - Southampton (a) 15 Jan - Watford (h) 22 Jan - Leeds (a)
