West Ham United P-P Newcastle United - 11/9/22 @ 2pm (Sky Sports)

You know how we bought Wood to weaken Burnley... -
His current role limits his opportunities for end product, along with his own limitations of course. He's not the icing on the cake, he's the sponge in every bite. Once we get him in a central role he can join in with attacks down the left, as well. And I'm sure he'll produce more down there.

A seven goal spectacular, I think.
-
They weren't checking for a push on Willock. That's the best I can come up with.
-
It's a manufactured catch 22 when they blame human error for a system designed to overcome human error. I mean somebody has made a lot of money out of this, it would be foolish to eliminate the demand. They're lowering the quality of refs, whilst protecting them to some extent by relieving them of responsibility for the real game changing moments.
-
I think he's spot on. I also think he'd be a fool to jump on board like he has in the past. Think he'll just discreetly turn up for a game one day.
-
This is kind of were I was coming from about the inexperienced refs. They don't seem to have that personality, but it's not so much of an issue [to PMGOL] because they have VAR to "back them up". Yesterday the ref should have told Lee Mason to fuck off, butt out, and don't be fucking stupid.
-
My overriding perception of Pep is that he's a gent. But I do think I've seen him crack when the temperature heats up. Klopp is permanently pathetic.
-
Should probably be red if it's disallowed. I'm sure i lost FFL points for it.
-
The Unbreakable Eddie Howe.
-
Is that Declan Rice? Whoever it is I applaud them. I totally understand a player making those comments. I see no reason for a manger to emulate that. I just think it would take an amazing effort from Howe to turn into that person.

The monkeys are currently training the next generation of monkeys. Ah, the story of humanity.

That's like saying washing machines aren't designed to break down days after the warranty expires, it's just that the materials used are of a poorer quality.
-
Got to hand it to Willock, he's cunning. He knew the keeper would save Mitchell's own goal attempt, and fouled him. Would have got away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky Vids.
-
Drag the cunts through the courts. That's the way to deal with it.

Yeah, something simple was my initial thought, just eleven flag poles with the starting eleven, fluttering in the wind, could be impressive. Obvious time restraints with the team being announced only an hour before kick off, but if there was somewhere that they could remain during the course of the match... Dunno, probably a good idea, but unworkable in practice. -

I suspect if you compare other interviews he'll look visibly pissed off. -
Aye. I think Pickford is what you settle for when you lack a keeper like Pope.
-
Howay, it's not difficult. He says. Spurs [not Fulham] are reigning champs, and their next title fight is against Man City, the winner takes the title.

And four youngsters who might be future stars. I don't know much about them tbh. -

Just thinking, could we have a flag for each player, really long, but narrow, a bit like the graphics you see on the starting line ups. Then maybe they could be raised in synchronicity with the team announcement. Maybe that's a bit overly ceremonial. But I think it would be canny to have every players flag being waved as thy enter the pitch. Just the starting eleven, not every player. -
Exactly. It's just bollocks for the TV viewer to get excited about. And another clip to be used over and over for the next 30 years to fit their warped narrative.

January will be a lot easier to sign Maddison. -

I think top 6 this season is achievable, but it can't be part of the plan as it requires other teams to underperform, which we have no control over. So I won't bemoan just missing out. -

How about we wait until the summer to judge this seasons transfers. Rather than looking at the unpredictable injuries and saying we should have bought better back-ups in those positions. A season long hindsight must be better.
