  1. Still missing three of our best players and [arguably] our best player was not at peak level. Still got 31 games left when it can click. I've said all along that 10th is my floor, where we end up beyond that is down to other factors outside our control.
  2. Seems reluctant to alter the plan. A simple switch of Allmiron and Fraser today, with instructions to Willock to get into the box, and we'd have stretched them more. Isak drops deep which either draws the defence out, or Willock gets in there to occupy the defence, giving Isak something of a free run at the cross.
  3. I'm rating him on saying no to Trippier then banging home his penalty. A lot of confidence. Needs to impose himself on the game more, drop back to let other layers get into positions ahead of him. Once he started coming deep we really threatened them today, should have switched Almiron and Fraser for more chances at a quick cross. Played a lovely ball to the right channel at one point, can't remember who to.
  4. Switch him with Fraser today and we win that game.
  5. I mean. if it was Susannah Hoffs, fair enough, her voice often leaves me speechless. To choose Atomic Kitten might leave me dumbfounded I suppose.
  6. Wilson was the same against Forest [where he eventually got a break thanks to Joelinton] and Brighton. We need somebody else [Willock] to be getting into the box in support.
  7. Not the best day at the office, but not the end of the world either. Bring on Brentford, we should get more space against them. Hats off to Bournemouth who defended well.
  8. I need to get on the roof and give Amelie a good fucking hiding but I can't leave.
  9. Bassoon, you say? Oboe he isn't. Not soon enough.
  10. Whereas Laaaaaaandanas drop the 'h' on every other word.
  11. I'm single. I still sing along to 'My Girl' when it comes on the radio.

I've got nowt against his punts. It's difficult to pinpoint what it is, speed of mind or feet, but I've come to trust his decision making. From what I've seen he appears to leave it to the last moment and I can't tell if he's already made the decision and is just cool as ice, or he's looking for better until the last moment, confident in his ability to kick when needed. Either way it's an added excitement to watching.

It was a bit of a Gordan Banks against Pele save. But better.
  14. January 2021 sounds inaccurate.
  15. That would change. With all of the talk about US influences on the game, when you look at Chelsea's squad he must be fuming that he can't play a defensive XI, an offensive XI, and a Jorginho XI for the field goals.
  16. Followed by GSTK is a bit ambiguous. I assume there'll be some sort of unavoidable encouragement, whether it's a live singer, or the old 78 on a gramophone.
