I like Brighton's campaign to bring back the terraces. "Stand or F'all". -

Been doing it for years. Best thing was when you could mute the commentators. -
Ah right. Not sure why that's a caveat, but I stand by my point re: Shearer. I used that because those players were available from Jan 04 when we sold him. Think we’d have been better with those than playing Ambrose RM. Bringing Ambrose into the equation definitely changes things. Canny, but no replacement for Nobby. Thinking on this, didn't Sounness use Bellamy on the right, and wasn't that the original source of their disagreements?

Love it.

That would have been terrible- The best thing about Bellamy was his runs off shearers headers and to achieve that he needed to be close to him. Dyer would move into the channels , in this formation he would be more centralised and easy to read. Jenas would have been a terrible holding midfielder- in fact he would be perfect in duets place here in order to rotate the ball around. Sir Bobby had it nailed with his 442 and viana just didn’t fit into it unfortunately I thought Bellamy played some of his best football at City and Liverpool when he was used as more of a winger. Not sure that would get the best out of Shearer mind. Bellamy over Nobby? I think I'd stick with Nobby.

Gavilan was ace on FM. Can't remember seeing him play IRL Absolute monster at RWB. With Domi on the left. Bassedas always had a great first season then sold for 15-20 mill. One of the best years, only spoiled by being responsible for Bobby's sacking.

Lejeune.

I'm not sure I do. I'm just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Is it not a reply to somebody saying he's overrated?
-
The writing is on the wall, he can't hide anymore. He might be looking to get sacked, but I don't think Ashley is going to sack him. This is just his way of coming out of this shitstorm with credibility. Cue the pundits remembering how difficult it must be to work under the constraints of Ashley.
-
It's funny, but only when you have figured out what is going on. It's not like it 'makes' you laugh.
-
Oh aye. I'm sure he 's including Sheff U and WBA.
-
Can't be arsed to look but I imagine it's mathematically true.
-
He's finally coming to terms with the fact that we're going down. He's shifting his position now, so that he doesn't look like an arrogant cunt at the end of it all. All about protecting his own reputation
-
I said at the time he wanted to Brighton to beat Southampton, for that reason. I was joking like. Simply couldn't bear it if this cunt avoids relegation.
-
Nice quim, shame about the face.

Brighton are above us. -
I think we were primed to reach the current level of Vila Wham, last season.

We know that. It's not his money that gets siphoned out, either. The term yo-yo club exists for a very tangible reason. Maintaining a squad that is capable of being promoted is clearly cheaper than maintaining a squad that is guaranteed to secure survival. It's not rocket surgery. Any money that's sitting around has Ashley's name on it. my point is then why the fuck does he care, he won't spend money on transfers. he won't spend money on sacking a shit manager. its just sitting there doing fuck all. and its going to cost him 100M+ on a sale, and more when he's got to figure out how to get back. It advertises his prime interest on a global scale. Even in the Championship [provided we are competing] we still get exposure due to our reputation as a PL club. I don't know, is the honest answer. Why does a man with zero interest in football [or any athletic pursuit], but owns a giant sports retail outlet, buy a globally recognised sporting institution? Again, not what I'm saying but I do agree with you. I'm saying why does he care about where the money is spent in the business he allegedly takes no money from in the form of cash (he's paid himself back recent championship loans). I'm saying in regards to the payout of Bruce and a hiring of new manager. I can't fathom why he cares because that cash is cash of the business he allegedly has said over and over is the club's money. Maybe he thinks Bruce is the perfect bloke to get us promoted at the first attempt. His knowledge of Bruce os probably what he hears on MOTD.

If Rafa had stayed, by now, Peres would be a regular starter in a team on a similar level to Leicester.

If that were true - what would be the end game? Pissing off us supporters again? All I can think is that it is cheaper to build a team for promotion from the championship, than a team for PL survival. Obviously promotion isn't guaranteed, but Ashley won't understand that.
