Not to mention Tino has played virtually non-stop the last few weeks, so resting him for this before coming back in for Forest might not be the worst idea.

If it was just the result of that knackers tackle, and he didn’t twist anything, he should be fine. The fact he was able to play on for a whole half is encouraging.

I don’t understand the narrative that what happened to Lockyer will have some galvanising effect on them? Imagine that had happened to one of our most influential players. We’d be devastated. The feeling around the club would be terrible. We’d be incredibly worried about the negative effect it would have on the squad. It’s a hammer blow for them.
