The premise of it is fine. But the way they’re currently implementing it leads to instances like has been highlighted here. There has to be a better way. I don’t know what that better way is, but there has to be one. Surely.

No one is gonna increase any offer because he has a few games for Southampton.
-
He doesn’t need to be in the ‘shop window’, especially not in a team getting howked every week. Any MLS or South American teams know who he is already.

Very much doubt it suits Miggy like.

His letterbox would be in grave danger.

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)
SteV replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
He actually did the initial injury in the 8-0 at Sheff Utd which was September 23, so he hasn’t played injury-free since then. -
Sold out at 22 so not that low really. Arsenal (obv big allocation) has gone down to 6 and Southampton 8.

Apparently they consulted ‘sound engineers’ to design the away end in such a way that it reduced the noise that comes out of it. Don’t really know what they’ve actually done like? Whereas West Ham just howked a massive gap in the middle of their away end to get that effect…

Overall point agreed, but there’s over a week between Arsenal and Wolves, and assuming we make substantial changes for Bromley, everyone should be fine.
-
Obviously quite funny, but if the boot was on the other foot, we’d be absolutely raging. Occupational hazard of being a London club though. There’s always gonna be fans of away clubs living in the ‘local’ area.

Absolute bollocks he doesn’t get that assist like. Who was he passing it to? Isak. Who did it go to? Isak. Surely irrelevant that the defender got a tiny touch on it first. Like putting every slightly deflected shot down as an OG. I understand (to a point) instances like the Isak worldy ‘non-assist’ at Everton, cos he was probably passing that to Wilson and it ended up with Murphy. But if it goes to the player you’re passing it to…

Yeah, you would be pissed off as the defending team, but if Joelinton was defending in our box and Bergvall smashed it off his arm from a yard, should it be a pen? Of course not. It’s just the luck of the situation, and we’ve benefited today.

Gets them that sweet, sweet engagement…

😂 Aye, true. Interesting that if you look at Leicester under Maresca last season, they were on for some kind of record points total, then had a mad dip to the point it looked like they might completely fuck it. He sorted it in the end, but it took him a good while. That would be a bit of a concern if I were a Chelsea fan.

Eddie always finds a polite way of not answering a question he can’t be bothered with…

Indeed. And you feel super confident about us at home against anyone playing like this. It’s mad how it can all turn like. Before Boxing Day we were 9 points behind Chelsea with a run of: Villa (h) Man Utd (a) Spurs (a) Whereas they had: Fulham (h) Ipswich (a) Palace (a) Now we’re 1 point behind behind them 🤯

Went ahead of Andy Cole today.

Would be better if he’d just wear some make-up… Seriously though, do all these YouTubers just spend their time making completely OTT reactions for the engagement? Is that the whole point?

Hope seemed to think Trippier would come in for this for his experience, which you could see. Obviously questionable whether it’s sensible to start Botman so soon again. Other than that I think Eddie will be loathe to ‘rest’ anyone, especially after what happened the last time he did that at Brentford.

Having said that, if they deem he is good to go, happy fucking days. Hope he smashes that prick Havertz.
