  1. I’m assuming you’re on relatively low points if you’ve managed to double them? What games did you get to last season, as off the top of my head I can’t remember many going particularly low? The upcoming semi at Man City should be 5k+ allocation, so that’ll be a good chance for folk with lower points to get to.
  2. Gonna be organising a seance to raise the corpse of Matt Busby next.
  3. So just to be clear, OGS got sacked by Man Utd for not being good enough, doesn’t then do anything for over 4 years, apart from go to Beşiktaş, which lasted 8 months, and it would somehow be a good move to get him back?
  4. “In the last week you’ve been linked with the Chelsea job and Man Utd job, is there anything that could tempt you away from Newcastle United?” “No, not at this current time. As I said I think that the most important thing for me is happiness in the role, happiness in the job, the relationships that I have with the people around me. Now, that’s not always been consistently good, and things can change at any football club, but at the moment I’m very happy, I think we made some key appointments in the roles that needed to fill, and as long as I can express myself in the best way possible, and I’m the best version of myself to help the players and the club, cos ultimately for any club to be successful there has to be unity from top to bottom, a good feeling between everybody. I’ve had an unbelievable relationship with the board since I came here, that’s never changed, and I consider myself very lucky to have that, cos there’s very few managers that have the time to build those relationships, to have the confidence and trust within each other, it’s really important, and if you’ve got all of those things, you’ve got a higher chance of being successful. I’m very happy at the moment and hopefully that stays for a long time” tldr: video is on the app and this is about 14:30 in

    Whereabouts they off?
  6. For anyone even remotely concerned about him being interested in any of the various managerial vacancies, I’d encourage you to listen to his answer to Edwards question to him at today’s presser. He’s going nowhere.
  7. Yes, this morning. For some reason not on the app.
  8. Sorry, yes, I should have said it depends whether you’re a ST holder in the cup scheme or not (had made the assumption you were, but obviously that could be wrong). Although, either way, it’s probably unlikely to make a massive difference.
  9. If you’ve been to the previous rounds it’s unlikely to make any difference, so you may as well get the money back for the ticket (unless there’s a chance you might make it obviously). The only negative impact on final tickets would likely be you being in Pot 2 instead of Pot 1. *obviously unless they decided to do something completely radical with any final allocation, but that would be extremely unlikely IMO
  10. Other than being able to get a seat next to the original ST seat, no. And even then, depending on the age of the child, you wouldn’t be allowed to just buy the single child ticket.
  11. He kinda rebuffs that point on Bruce, but tbh I don’t want to go on too much cos that was only a very small percentage of the whole thing, so shouldn’t put anyone off watching.
  12. No, pretty sure you can’t.
  13. Just watched the whole episode. He says a couple of things that people won’t like (that Ashley and Bruce were alright), but l generally I thought it was decent. It strange because in some ways he’s a very simple, basic character, yet in others he’s quite complex. It’s worth a watch anyway. https://youtu.be/zHYo4Cy-RFA?si=6llrf4JUg4a2Fe12
  14. Fair play for rocking up in his boots.
  15. 😂😂😂 He’s an absolute fucking parody
  16. Nightmare for his two kids having their da as the manager. Doesn’t matter that much at youth team level, but no cunt will shut up about it if either of them start playing for the first team.
  17. Absolutely bizarre. I’ve been watching a bit of West Fan TV-type content recently (cos seeing cockneys raging in a John Sitton-type manner is mildly entertaining) and on the whole they largely seem to rate Wilson (at least in relation to the rest of the ‘facking lazy cants’).
  18. Good to see Eddie Howecescu outlasting another rival.
  19. The job description of a PL set piece coach seems to be to try and master the art of getting someone to swing a corner under the bar and have a load of your big lads crash the keeper. I genuinely can’t remember anyone scoring from a corner this season that wasn’t anything more than just a slight variation on this. Not even something as varied as Burn’s in the cup final.
  20. Apparently this bloke is bang in the firing line:
  21. The place where managers go to die.
