  1. Seems to have got Botman’s contract sorted with a minimum of fuss. Obviously we don’t know the details of the contract, so impossible to say whether he’s made a good job of it, but the fact it’s been resolved before it started becoming an issue, at least bodes well to him knowing what he’s doing.
  2. Should be a 6.5k allocation, so good chance for anyone on low points to get (idiotic ko times not permitting…)
  3. Here man, Man City with another piss easy home draw. We’ll let them have this cup and they can let us keep the Carabao.

Guess it partly depends if he’s had an increase in wages?

So you telling me the club hierarchy don’t despise him for being Isak’s mate, and aren’t trying to force him out?
  8. Ashby’s in the PL squad, so there’s one.

  10. Unquestionably a step in the right direction, even if they could do more.
  11. Interesting quote from the Boro forum:
  12. Problem being you didn’t need to be a member to buy a ticket then. They’ll never limit membership numbers anyway. It’s like putting a cap on how much your revenue can grow. @bobbydazzla’s suggestion of having a membership purchase window(s), would seem the most obvious way of not stifling revenue, but also trying to address some of the issues unlimited membership causes.
  13. Didn’t they do that for one of the games earlier this season? I may have made that up mind.
  14. So how would you decide who is eligible? First come first served?
  15. It’s at a least a start to better transparency. Some actual numbers to go with the %’s would be helpful like.
  16. I don’t think Barnes is more effective at RW than LW. I doubt anybody really does tbh. But he’s performing better at RW than anyone else has managed this season. And Gordon is currently performing well enough at LW. We’ve finally found something that’s led to our wingers contributing to the level we need, and I’d be loathe to change that. Suspect Eddie will be too.
  17. If Carrick’s coming in as Interim Manager, what’s Fletcher? Interim to the Interim?
  18. Have they? Because I’d argue that they’ve shown our best current combination is Barnes RW and Gordon LW.
  19. I’m in that picture.

  22. Nee trains back thanks to the ko time. So it’s a 5hr+ car journey or a 6hr+ coach journey, then up for work tomorrow. Nothing we don’t have to face regularly mind, given our similar(ish) geographical constraints. But we’ve got more fans than them.
