I was down Swansea that day. Got talking to some Swansea fans before the game and they were asking why we hated Pardew so me and my mate spent about 10 mins giving them the lowdown on his cuntery. One of the blokes said, "He sounds like a right twat. When you abuse him, i'll join in!" To be fair to them, some of them did join in with "We want Pardew out!" during the game.

What's that about? You don't remember Coloccini's letter? No i cant

What's that about?

Outrageously shit decision by the linesman. It was miles over!

Imagine if he made a decent save once. It's pretty tough to actually imagine that, but at least try. He made one yesterday like. We’re not allowed to talk about that though because some bloke once said that he loves Pardew so he has to be blamed for everything and we have to hate him!!! Very sad but thankfully this weird witchhunt only exists on this forum. He is a pretty terrible keeper though. There is no doubt that he’s very average but he’s nowhere near as bad as mentioned on here and he’s not to blame for barely any of the goals mentioned on here. I think I had a look recently and he had been blamed by at least one user on here for 90% of our goals conceded. When I’m bored and on my laptop I’ll have a look again but I bet it’s probably similar, if not the same. On that basis if we had Hugo Lloris in goal, we’d be in the top 4. Speaks volumes about how wrong and pathetic the constant criticism is. Let's put it this way, in terms of the rest of the league, where would you rank him? who wouldn't you have over him? I rate every other keeper apart from Hennessey above him. Although i'll admit i haven't seen much of Huddersfield's and Brighton's. Rafa must be fuming this wasn't addressed in the summer.

Florian Lejeune (now playing for Rayo Vallecano)

Based on what? Based on what I've seen of him so far I'd say he's better. Before the Man United game people were praising Lejuene so I don't see how 2 games later he's suddenly the next coming of Titus Bramble. Why is he better? Clark was solid last year but has looked dodgy this season at a higher level, and so has Lejuene in the last two games but he's much more comfortable on the ball than Clark. I know his job is to defend first but I'm confident he'll improve and has much more potential than Clark imo. Most of the praise Lejuene was getting was based on his performances in pre season and 20 mins against Spurs before he got injured. Since then he's looked error-prone. Clark hasn't looked dodgy at a higher level. Fair enough he nearly cost us a goal against Liverpool but generally when he's played alongside Lascelles he's looked solid. Lejuene appears to be the weak link at the minute unfortunately. He might turn out to be quality but it doesn't look likely based on what i've seen. -

Rafa needs to get his shit together. Ditch Joselu, Manquillo and Diame, forget about 4-4-2, and get us grinding out a classic 1-0 away win ? -

Had a really good view of it from the corner and didn't think he could do much about it. Certainly the crowd didn't blame him nor has he taken the blame in any of the match reports I've read or in the commentary. Made one really good save in the 1st half but didn't command his area well I thought. Is that not just because people have accepted that he's shit/average at best? I think most Premier League keepers would've stopped it personally.

Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

Aye! When we got back in the Premier League me and my mate used to laugh at wingers trying to get past him. After a few months most of them stopped even trying. He was awesome for that short time. -
Should have definitely stopped the 2nd, even though it was a deflection it travelled a long way with not much pace on it. Can't blame him for either of the other ones though.

I'm willing to give him time as he's new to the league and country but this is my worry with him. Hopefully he can adapt fast. -
Newcastle United 0-3 Watford - 25/11/2017 - post match gloom from p26

Aye he's not gona get many better chances in the Premier League than the 2 he missed yesterday. The first one was a total miskick and the 2nd one just looked like he shit himself. Really poor. -
Yep, we really do have some f***ing appalling fans. Like it's a contest to see who can write a player off the quickest. It is like. Looking back a few pages on this thread there's plenty of over the top comments. "Flog him in January" "Needs to go out on loan ASAP" "Would rather have kept Sammy" Good job not every fan has the same attitude cos players like Speed and Solano and wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes here. Some players just need a bit of time and support. You're really comparing his situation to the likes of Speed and Solano Aye because they're both examples of players who started woefully for us but turned out to be 2 of the best players we've had in recent times.

It's almost like young footballers require confidence and some game time to perform isn't it? He's proven nothing yet but some fans' treatment of him has been shocking. Really hope he comes good.

Looking forward to the slimeball getting found out again and watching the likes of Tony Gale squirm while they desperately try to defend him.

To be honest i just took Rafa's comment as being clever and not showing his hand for if/when the takeover happens. He's a smart bloke unlike some of the dimwits we've had before who'd probably tell the world we've got a bottomless war chest, then wonder why clubs are quoting ridiculous prices. -
Surely he's not thick enough to think he might get the job? His record is Carver-esque

Just watched Rafa's presser, seems as relaxed and confident as ever despite our poor run ? Glad Merino is back but there seems to be a huge amount of expectation on him for a young guy who's new to the league. Personally i'm looking more to the likes of Shelvey and Ritchie to step it up and lead us to the 3 points. Watford are a decent side but i don't think we should be looking at this like a draw is ok, our away form is poor so we need to be beating the likes of Watford at home IMO. The team pretty much picks itself i think due to our injuries. The only positions i would dispute are Joselu's and Manquillo's but Rafa clearly doesn't like/rate Mitrovic and Mbemba so it's hardly worth mentioning. Murphy absolutely must start after his (moderate) improvement last week. We've got to start taking more chances. We've missed too many good ones at key times in the last 2 games i think. 2-0 to us! -

Aye. The yellow tie wearing fuck nut! -
Loved this post - Imagine taking over Sunderland, they are such a rubbish club. I think it was a bad call by him, could've got something better. The rubbish fans are always leaving at half time because they are losing, the players look like have been thrown together and play like complete strangers. Hate that club, glad they were relegated, it was long overdue. Hope they never get back up, stadium of light? I can think of another word to replace light with. Bad move Coleman
