  1. He's a smart lad Lascelles, he can only get better and better ? Loved Shearer telling him he wants to see us win a trophy before he dies, you can tell Al is very much just a fan like us these days. Also Rob Lee getting a dig in on the mackems over Moyes' record
  2. Messi is on another planet like. I find it amazing that some people can't see it but everyone's entitled to their opinion. He'll probably end up with more career goals than the likes of Maradona, Zidane and Cruyff made appearances. Absolutely crazy!
  3. I can already see myself pulling my hair out with frustration when Camel Face announces his squad for the World Cup. It's guaranteed to be full of average s**** that all do the same type of job.
  4. Ings? No thanks. It seems like he's been injured for about 5 years and he wasn't even that good anyway.
  5. Someone pretending to be ITK but can't say too much as it'll get his source in bother. Because we're meant to believe there's only 3 people involved in this deal. Mike, Amanda and his source Ah so just another bellend attention seeker then. Cheers i'll avoid anything where his name is mentioned then ? He's not a bellend attention seeker in the slightest. Maybe not but i suppose you run the risk of being tarred with that brush when you claim to be ITK.

  7. I thought he was good yesterday, he seemed to be everywhere picking up loose balls in midfield and pressing quickly. I'm not really one for using stats but i thought i'd try and find some to try and back up what i'm saying as i had a few drinks before the match so my opinion could've been blurred. Pass completion - 79% (43 passes) Key passes - 2 Long passes - 0 Dribbles - 0 Tackles - 2 Interceptions - 2 Clearances - 5 Disposessed - 1 Shots - 1 He's quite a limited player but i think his mobility and defensive insticts are important to us at the minute, especially when Shelvey is in the team.
  8. I bet if that Dark Justice set up a child account on RTG it wouldn't take long for one of those creeps to start PMing it.
  9. We should be looking at 3 points here. We've had a good start but if we want to have a decent season these are the type of games you target for points. We've got twice as many points as Bournemouth so we shouldn't be happy with a draw at all. I think i'd like to see a few changes for this one as i think we might have gone a bit stale and been sussed out a bit. I've lost patience with Perez and Joselu, they both look low on confidence and might benefit from being taken out of the firing line for a bit. Would also like to see Murphy given a run of games, these 10 minute cameos are no good to him by the looks of it and hopefully he'd respond well if the manager indicates he trusts him to do a job. I'd also bring Clark in for Lejuene, who i wasn't conviced by on monday night. Clark is still our best defender IMO. I'm assuming Merino is still injured which is a big blow. Elliott Yedlin. Lascelles. Clark. Manquillo Hayden. Shelvey Ritchie. Murphy. Atsu Mitrovic/Gayle Can't see it happening but hope he freshens it up in some way.
  10. What's this based on? his general play does look better but he's hardly scoring loads of goals and it's not like we create loads of chances. I feel like we kind of do though? Just balls up the finish more often than not. Nah we create very little most games outside set pieces We've scored 10 goals all season but have the 6th highest shots on target and 8th highest shots taken total. I feel like we could be doing better. That doesn't surprise me too much. Although we're primarily a defensive side, when we do decide to go forward we're pretty good at getting into the final third but our finishing or final ball lets us down. A lot of those shots are speculative efforts from range by the likes of Shelvey or Ritchie. Or piss-weak efforts straight at the keeper. We're crying out for some genuine quality, just hope we get some in January.

  12. Southgate is shite like. If the FA had any balls they'd get rid of him now and get a manager with experience and pedigree to take our young squad to the World Cup.
  13. Joe Gomez, wow! Looks an absolute shambles every time i watch him.
  14. There's been 3 people lifted off there for noncing in the last few years. One of the arrests was recorded by that Dark Justice group. I won't post his username in case it gets me into bother. No way? Do they all still post on there aswell?
  15. Just read through their discussion about Johnson there, what a weird and creepy place that forum is! Guaranteed to be a few predators amongst that lot!
  16. Take your point re need a certain skill set, but reckon both players mentioned have the three attributes you list. I was thinking the same.
  17. Your idea of a number 10 must be different to mine. I would want my number 10 to find space in order to affect the game in the best possible way, if that means drifting out wide at certain points of the game then so be it. Beardsley is the best one we've had and he wasn't limited to staying through the middle. You can't really use Perez' average position as marker for what our 10 should be doing when it's universally agreed that he's doing a s*** job Aye, Rafa probably does want him close to the striker but not when he's not getting a sniff of the ball or being instantly dispossessed through lack of space. Oh nah I think the same I just don't think Rafa does. I think the reason he likes him is the positional discipline, I think that if Ritchie played there it'd be much the same. Aye I know Perez has been bad but then if you look on that analysis ritchie and astsu are very positionally disciplined as well. I don't think Rafa would want to lose the graft Ritchie does and I don't personally think he'd be any better in the role than Perez Fair points but we'll have to agree to disagree as i think Ritchie would at least do a better job than Perez ?

  19. Because a lot of the time he's either getting doubled-up on or has to go past someone to get a cross in, which obviously isn't his strength. Ideally he needs Yedlin or another one of our attackers to help work some space so he can do the damage but it's not happening enough. Perez is getting the ball in some decent positions but either takes too long to make a decision or his execution is crap, Ritchie is much better at both of these things. Like i say, surely better than Perez.
  20. Ritchie could absolutely play through the middle, howay he couldn't exactly be worse than Perez could he? He'd more than likely get a lot more opportunities effect the game and take shots than he does out wide. Playing number 10 doesn't mean he has to stay in the middle either as someone suggested before, he'd be able to find space out wide and put crosses in rather than always being faced with a full back ready to stop the cross. Moving him there would also mean Atsu could play on the right (where he's looked better for me) and give either Murphy or Aarons a chance on the left.
