1. I don't want it to be Reid. Despite his mackem connections i've always thought he seems like a good bloke, he used to take the "monkeys heed" chants in good humour and didn't feel the need to have digs in the press or whatever. It'd be a shame to see him get dragged into their mess i think. Sewpa Kev would be fantastic. He'd bring some of their crowd back initially but almost certainly end up failing miserably and being as unpoular as Grayson. That would be beautiful ? Hopefully it's not Keane. I quite enjoy his blunt, obnoxious punditry he's mint. One of the few pundits actually worth listening to. Pardew would be hilarious! Their reaction would be absolutely class and he would more than likely f*** them up even more in the long-term. ***Edit*** I just thought, if there's one man who's guaranteed to fail to inspire their players, infuriate their fans and also wouldn't think twice about taking the job, it's Steve Mclaren! Please make it happen!
2. Well, yesterday says different. He started and was fine for the 1st half. No it doesn't So you're saying it's ok for a player to start even if he can only last 45 minutes? It's a waste of a sub. He'd be better coming on with 20 minutes to go so he'd be up against tired opponents and less risk of him tiring himself.
3. He hasn't got the stamina to start games. He should only ever be a sub IMO.
4. Couldn't give a monkey's chuff as long as they buy us a few trophies.
5. Does, but surely not If he was gonna be used again, he would have been by now, no? No i'm not saying he will, just that he should. Rafa clearly doesn't like him. Whether it's just his disciplinary issues or maybe he fucks around in training too much and doesn't follow his instructions i don't know. Or maybe he thinks he's just a shit player?
6. Needs to come in at the weekend for sure.
7. He's obviously a bit tense, like the first day at a new job. The narrative around signing him and connections to the north east are probably adding to the pressure and what he thinks everybody expects of him. Once he loosens up a bit he will be fine, his game is taking players on and taking shots at goal. Him feeling tense takes away both of those things, or atleast makes them a lot harder. Just hope our fans give him the time and support he needs. Aye this ?
8. Absolute bullshit. A lot of foreigners love it here and there's lots to love about our area. England is a small country it's not like we're based in Siberia and guess what? We have a f***ing airport! Neville can get f***ed! I'd expect drivel like that from Pardew or Souness but not him. Seems like the takeover talk is starting to worry a few. Neville's been peddling that for a while tbf, not just regarding the north east but the whole north in general in terms of the deterioration of clubs, Manchester and Liverpool aside. It's still utter horseshit like. Shame because he's probably the only half decent pundit on Sky. Never heard him say owt like that before, i assumed it was an anti-Newcastle agenda for some reason. If he could back it up with a couple of stories from ex team-mates or whatever then fair enough, but i doubt we'll ever get anything like that. He has done, this was written on 25 September 2015, after we had just suffered an utterly woeful exit out of the League Cup at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday at SJP. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11891430/The-north-is-being-cut-adrift-in-English-football-and-I-fear-the-damage-may-be-permanent.html I actually can't disagree with much he's said there and i remember reading it at the time now ? It seems to have a different feel to it than the crap he's come out with tonight mind. Certainly in regards to Newcastle anyway.

11. Love Rafa but i think his tactics and team selection cost us tonight. Didn't agree with starting Diame or his decision to leave Mitrovic out of the picture. And in hindsight (i know!) maybe Clark would've been a better selection than Lejuene, i think Clark would've handled Barnes a lot better. The thing that annoyed me though was that for about 10 minutes before the goal you could see we were losing our grip on the game and Rafa didn't react. Diame, Atsu, Joselu and Perez were all clearly fading and he shoud've taken at least one of them off. Even his subs were poor and had little effect, which is no surprise as Burnley knew how to see the game out and limited us without any major scares. Don't want to sound like i'm having too much of a go at Rafa cos he gets it right more than he gets it wrong but i think he could've definitely set us up better tonight. Elliott - Coped well under quite a bit of pressure apart from one dodgy kick. Yedlin - Not too many problems at the back but wasteful going forward. Lascelles - No problems as Burley chose to put Barnes on Lejeune instead of him. Lejuene - Had a good battle with Barnes but came out 2nd best. Manquillo - Did ok not much to say. Diame - Ok in the 1st half. Ran out of steam as usual though. Should only ever be a sub. Shelvey - Used the ball well and our best player. Ritchie - Was quite sharp but didn't influence the game enough. Shouldn't have come off though! Perez - Some nice link play really early on but did fuck all after that apart from a shot that brought a good save. Atsu - Looked our most dangerous player in the 1st half but faded from the game. Joselu - Like Perez got involved early on but did fuck all after, was crying out to be replaced by Mitrovic if he'd been available.
12. It cracks me up more than it should and i know i keep going on about it but it's funny as f***. Just hoy it in the bin man you scruffy c***s! there was a post on rtg about one player dribbling the ball over a bottle- like that was just something normal. A pop bottle on the pitch and nobody even thinks its unusual. That's part of my point, they don't seem to have any intention of addressing the problem. It makes me think that the vast majority of them wouldn't think twice about having a shit on a busy street if it was more convenient than walking a couple of hundred yards to the nearest toilet. Absolute bamps.
13. It cracks me up more than it should and i know i keep going on about it but it's funny as f***. Just hoy it in the bin man you scruffy c***s! I feel bad for your bin men
14. It cracks me up more than it should and i know i keep going on about it but it's funny as fuck. Just hoy it in the bin man you scruffy cunts!
15. Aye. Allardyce tried to say we played well when we had 1 shot at goal or something. "The sad thing is that we had 14 players away on international duty and and that looked apparent. "Before the break we were on a roll after the Wigan win, but some of the players looked jaded. "We had opportunities, but we didn't take them and we were beaten by a wonder goal. "I just hope Michael's not too serious (Owen came off with a tight groin muscle). "We don't think it will be, you can expect a little tightness with all the games he's had and particularly the two England games. "Of course, he hasn't had that many over the last couple of years so he's getting better and sharper and fitter. "Tonight he felt the groin and had he carried on and extended himself in any way, he might have actually pulled it. It was a shocking, negative performance against terrible opposition. The daft thing is i think we'd had a decent start to the season. He could've easily accepted he got it wrong and we deserved to lose but his humongous fat head wouldn't allow it.
16. Aye. Allardyce tried to say we played well when we had 1 shot at goal or something.
17. I was listening to Talksport as all the 3pm games kicked off yesterday and the first thing their match reporter mentioned was the wind and all the shit swirling round the pitch. I find it funny as fuck that they're starting to get recognised as scruffy bastards on a national level now
18. This is the arguement i use whenever someone says the likes of Pardew and Allardyce are "good" managers. They've won literally fuck all, not even as players!
19. Aye what a total buffoon man! ? Honestly can't work out how he's landed so many manager gigs. He can't even get life right!
20. Are you not watching an old match on UK gold ? Shit aye! Barry Davies commentating.
21. Sheff Utd are sponsored by Teletext Holidays, didn't even know that still existed!
22. Huge question marks over all of those players for me. Cassillas is a legend and a leader but has looked past his best for at least 2 years now. Shaw looked brilliant before his injury last season, not sure what's happened since then but there's clearly something wrong with his mentality. Barkley is an exciting player and would improve us in attack but his decision making is shocking and his situation at Everton is weird as f***. Everyone knows the score with Carroll, he can be unstoppable when fit but i honestly can't remember the last time he was fit for more than 20 fixtures, probably when he played for us! If i'm honest i'd probably avoid all of them and probably so would Rafa.
23. Bang on ? None of them will do it though, especially when they can sit in a Sky or BT chair talking bollocks as an alternative.
