I think we'd stay up with the current squad. Meant enough for us fans and for Rafa. I really struggle to care about who we sign, the club is as good as dead to me until Ashley f***s off. His bullshit this week is just another reminder that despite us having Rafa, it's a club that's never going anywhere under him. Ah right, I agree with that of course - Ashley is in an unredeemable situation now with the club and he knows it. He also knows he can no longer afford to run a Premier League team and is probably for the first time feeling genuinely under pressure to get rid and clean his hands

He's not that bad man. Way over the top. The vast, vast majority of their openings were down to him in that half. Didn’t stop the cross for the goal, hides when we’re in possession (see when Atsu had it deep and he set off on a nice little run behind their winger) and doesn’t say a peep on the pitch. He’s p*ss poor, more or less everyone else did their jobs defensively there. This. I thought he was awful, sane was going past him at ease all through the half. Not sure how you can say he has been awful here like. Ridiculous crack imo, we're playing Manchester City away man and they've had like 2 shots on goal. There's always a player being moaned at by some, not needed.
