  1. Probably our best player yesterday I thought, especially in the first half he was winning the ball back often. Certainly deserves his place in the 11, miles ahead of the other 3 on current form.
  2. So unbelievably irrelevant what they think of him They'll do well if they have anyone with half of his ability in the next 5 years.
  3. I thought the same I hope I'm not beginning to jinx shite performances by the player used in the graphic. Might have to just start using Joselu in them all.
  4. Very good point KI, if it wasn’t for his temperament, we’d have never even been close to being lucky enough to enjoy his brilliance here. He’d have spent his career playing in teams with players his talent warrants. Run out of words for him I do.
  5. Hatem speaking of intuition, instinct & playing with the heart rather than the head much alike Charles Dickens in Hard Times. My favourite player to ever play in England, simple as that really. I prefer watching him over any of the Premier League greats. That’s delusionally ridiculous I didn't by any means say the best or most successful mate, he's far from it. But in terms of players I find a sheer joy to behold, and who have the talent and ability to make professional footballers look like Sunday league players, there's not many more to have played in England that can do what Hatem could/can. La Liga sure, but not the PL.
  6. How's that? A stadium is a lot more about just state of the art facilities and bloody microbrewery's. It's got absolute nothing on the likes of the Westfalenstadion, San Siro, Old Trafford and many, many others. Give it 20 or 30 years to cultivate a renowned atmosphere & historical nights in the world's largest competitions and then we can maybe talk about it in the same conversation as football's greatest homes.
  7. Spurs gan full Americana for this opening

  9. Been making a few football related graphic illustrations for a potential job... thought this one may be of interest to the Zidane admirers on here
  10. Burgess ushering McGeady away from the ref there has likely kept Sunderland playing with 11 men. Very honourable stuff from him given the circumstances.
  11. Home one looks like a default football manager kit when you haven't downloaded the patches.
  12. Hopefully some of them can go back and assist with the clean up after the game as a gesture of respect - otherwise, little bit shite that tbh; not saying our fans en masse wouldn't cause the same mess, but you hope there's no tourists arriving in London for the first time today to visit The Royal Mews and The Mall and end up seeing this.
  13. Just sitting watching a little segment about Rafa from SSN today, listening to him speak about his love for teaching in his past as a P.E. teacher and later as a coach - and I'm almost in disbelief that we have Rafa fucking Benitez as our manager
  14. I like the Luton ground simply because it's not following the trend of adding tasteless curvature everywhere - so dull and predictable. At least this Luton ground has some nice angles to it's design and I'm a fan of the uncompromising slabs for each stand.
  15. One of my favourite stadiums, particularly from the outside it's really something to behold. This news is made worse by the fact they're looking to base the new design on some NFL Stadium, which in truth looks the same as lots of the newer builds. A big bowl, essentially.
  16. Aguero's record is superb for time spent in the league like.
  17. Feeling confident. Think Rafa should start resting players ahead of this.
  18. Lovely. First actually good one of the last few pages imo.
