  1. You’ve looked pretty poor since he joined.
  2. I tried but I couldn’t fit him through the slot.
  3. At least Gary has the excuse of a severe traumatic brain injury.
  4. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone this month.
  5. That was a crushing fucking bit of news. I heard so many people claiming souness was a great appointment that I thought I’d moved to fucking Oz or something.
  6. And yet he finished 5th the season before he was sacked and it was a dodgy result against a poor wolves side that cost us a place in the top four if I recall properly. Shepherd reacted to the punters, and didn’t think it through.
  7. Agree about SBR but at what point does it become untenable? And it’s dependent on the owners, not the punters. They will have expectations and if he’s not meeting those expectations he’ll be bulleted. Simple as that and whether the punters like it or not. We’re owned by businessmen , not football people and that’s how it works now. SBR was a good tactician who could adapt and modify his approach to a game as it was happening. This all seems a bit one dimensional, which is how Keegan got found out too. Great motivator, poor coach.
  8. Ah howay man. It’s the hope I fucking hate.
  9. Does it still count as a consolation goal if we score first?
  10. So did Keegan but he hit his ceiling. bit of devilish advocacy.
  11. That full back we peddled to Leicester who went on to win the league with them springs to mind. Simpson was it?
  12. Chelsea, Bolton and Liverpool away all at the same time as a result of newly applied rules for teams with a manager called Eddie.
  13. 2025 calendar. Isak is January. Clearly not confident he’ll be staying. worrying.
  14. To be fair, Dave Stewart is better than Sam Fender.
  15. Sell him for £120 million. Buy osimhen for £60. Use the rest for a left winger and the guehi cash for someone other than guehi. Piece of piss.

    England

or maybe it’s long term thinking.
  17. Looking at the England team today it’s seems apparent that the strategy is long term thinking. Buy the best English talent available young, train them, mould them and a few older established class acts like Bruno and trippier that they can watch and learn from. Drill them with discipline, fitness, footballing nous and guide them as a unit for success. expect the transfer policy to remain the same and manage your expectations accordingly. This is going to be fucking great. It’s how Ferguson turned a jaded and plodding Manchester United into the most successful team in the last 30 years. He was hit and miss with big signings but his eye for young talent to fit into his system was second to none. I get the tickle that Eddie has the same savvy. I just hope he wins a league cup so that the owners remain patient.
