Been a dire weekend. A mix of truly awful matches and abysmal interest-in-the-game-questioning refereeing decisions.
-
It used to be the feet that had to be on/off, you know the only bit that can gain an advantage. The ancients knew many things.

Cant see in a million years doing enough to improve on last season which should be the goal of every club/fan. That'd be two players minimum irrespective of Isak. Going to be so many games like today with the extra fixtures otherwise, maybe even if.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season

Cant see a player in there at this level at all. Not so much promising youngster that cant get a game because of internationals ahead of him as a backup to those internationals. -
Miggy-Murphy syndrome. fka the Robert/Vianna paradox Whichever one is on is shite and should be replaced by the one that's not on.

Garang Kuol: Joins Sparta Prague in permanent deal (Official)

Looked raw but honestly thought we'd hone something out of that. -
A discount seems in order whether he's really injured or if its a put on.

Not sure its the death of Enlgish football but liked Jordan's perma-top-six reference. The one thing these rules ensure. They've failed in terms of transfer fees, wages, competitiveness, protecting clubs and ticket prices. It really flies in the face of the "competitiveness" mantra that's trotted out as a defence of these rules. 24 clubs have won the English league, who know how many have competed for it or how many have been in the 'big six' in that time. Guess about 30clubs. Forevermore we've got 6 (if that) title challengers, a fixed top6 power cabal that will make up the top6 placings the vast majority of the time.

Think the reassurances that the club is on it is part of the satisfaction were feeling. Doubts were creeping in.

from that Stuttgart forum. 'A Munich fan states: "The thing with Newcastle happened almost completely silently. During the negotiations with us, every puff was made public. I have no idea how much came from us, but that's sad.'

Amazing how spending money is just awful, bad for the game and all that but when its a media favourite club doing it they love it and its such an amazing story.

Been lashing down today too, more rain probably than the rest of the summer combined, would fly someone in today.
-
Think its standard (pun intended) in Belgium, Mechelen (small ground) played peak Milan at Heysel, sure others have to. Glad, hopeful, its still a thing.
-
Stuttgart seem to be linked with El Khannouss now.
-
Stuttgart fans seem happy to have avoided selling to Bayern. I can relate to that. On the other hand with Bayern having saved on this I'd be delighted to facilitate the transfer of Isak to them in Jan or next summer.
-
Chance of an Antwerp or bigger sized away following for that then.
-
Is it? I heard Heysel - that would have been useful for away tickets and a famous ground to check off.

A kind of cross between Rudi Voller and Carsten Janker, with a bit of old school German softcore erotica thrown in

Since we got good in this cup, they've not won a game, last win Oct 2021. Haven't won a home cup tie in either cup since 2016, won one of last eleven cup ties. five of last twenty. Their shit cup gates would be justified if they hadn't been shit for decades incliuding semi-finals
