There's a chance this game gets moved to an alternative date due to the Ambulance strike unless the club can source private ambulances and staff.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

Not really a travesty. He was rightly behind the likes of Tony Adams, Terry Butcher and Des Walker in the pecking order. Plus Bruce was painfully slow. -
He's the softest, most passive footballer I've ever seen. His win percentage on challenges must be zero.

He hasn't been the same since his howler at the Euro's. https://twitter.com/itvfootball/status/1407739546742267913?lang=en-GB

You'll probably remember this one too, played at every game in the 80's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SruVR2fBQWE

That's why PIF are here, the potential upside of NUFC is massive. We used to be the 5th richest in the world pre-Ashley http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/football/543805.stm

I've only got the 75/76 shirt and it's good quality, thick cotton, like an old rugby shirt. No idea what the rest of the shirts are like.

Now that was an eventful day. I was standing just about where the second pic was taken from. I say standing, but my feet barely touched the ground for 90 mins. How everyone got out of there in one piece amazes me to this day. The crush at Leeds the other week had nowt on this.

Roker Mackem on RTG is my guess. Same profile pic in both accounts.

Brucie spot on as ever! When asked if he had held any dialogue with the powers that be about an ultimatum, Bruce told the Chronicle Live: "It is absolutely the biggest pile of ***** I have ever heard." Bruce has not held any meetings or talks with Mike Ashley, but is in regular conversation with managing director Lee Charnley. And with Eddie Howe's name spoken about as the potential next boss on Tyneside, Bruce feels some of the reporting has gone too far. Bruce said: "Some of it needs to be more measured. I give respect. When I see polls, the next manager and the fella from Bournemouth, I find it disrespectful, I have to tell you. Your paper (the Chronicle) was gunning for a manager that got a team relegated last year." Howe's name was initially mentioned in a comment piece in the aftermath of the League Cup exit at Brentford, and has since been used in articles about who the bookies feel is favourite to be next boss. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/must-read-steve-bruce-interview-19683863

'Remarkable' has to be in there, he says it all the time. Remarkable

It'll be interesting to see the PFA take on this and whether the clubs have broken terms in players contracts.

There must be some prolific letter writers in the 5% wanting Bruce to stay.

Very fitting as he hasn't got a Scooby Doo what he's doing.

Such a shame he didn't end up as a binman. https://twitter.com/NUFC_1980_1994/status/1368633782450982917
