  1. https://henrymauriss.brandyourself.com/ Looks like his website cost about £3.50 to put together, I highly doubt he's got £350m
  2. There are no words to describe how I feel when I look at that. Same here. Thankfully there's an emoji. :anguish:
  3. I hope each and every last one of those Sports Direct staff members tell him to go and fuck himself, the fucking leech
  4. It's so s*** it's good Is the "cans" thing a new phenomenon or has it been around a while? I've never heard it before. Haven't been much to celebrate for us for quite a while though, I guess. That Geordie Dentist bloke started it during the failed BZG takeover saga last year.
  5. Saudis are purchasing Norwich instead. The plane brought Delia up to Newcastle, as she's going to buy Newcastle from Ashley. I heard LET'S BE HAVING YOU! clear as day as the plane flew over Heaton. Either that or it's unrelated to the takeover.
  6. I saw that too, what the fuck? The Comical at it again
  7. Wonderful post. Puts my thoughts into words better than I ever could.
  8. Aye it’s good news hey. You think they have people lined up in place to come straight in? DoF, manager etc? Wonder where they will go first. Looking forward to hearing their plans. I can't wait man. I'm sure they have people in mind, although it maybe won't all fall into place straight away. With Cabbage Heed having until the end of the season (who knows when that'll even be) they'll have a bit of time to solidify things. The next few months should be very exciting. I would love to see the club go from the mess it's currently in to a well run outfit with a board, a director of football, a top manager, some (sensible) marquee signings, a great scouting network, an academy that churns out top talent and a training ground worthy of a premier league team (so no wheelie bins or paddling pools). That and the fact that there's a real opportunity for the owners to breathe new life into the area as a whole makes this an absolute no-brainer for me. Totally agree with you. I think there will be a constant stream of positive news from the off, plenty of information/interaction and things moving forward. Going to be unreal reading about it all. 100%. I took out a year's subscription with The Athletic a few days ago in anticipation of their coverage of the new owners as I'm guessing with Caulkin being friendly with Staveley he'll likely get an interview with her. Caulkin writing about a new, rejuvenated, ambitious NUFC should be great to read. I'm checking this thread, the Reddit takeover megathread and twitter (not that checking the NUFC hashtag on twitter does much good) constantly as for the first time in 13 years I'm daring to dream again. The wait for an announcement is driving me mad

  10. Nah mate ND on twitter says so, so it must be true https://twitter.com/ND12044259/status/1253672083281915904 I've noticed a few strange accounts getting involved in this stuff. The one above, signed up to twitter in April and has done nothing but attack anyone who questioned Saudi Arabia. This one is even weirder: 'Kate Stewart' signed up in March, tweeted none stop Saudi propaganda since April (91,000 tweets!). That ND one has been popping up all over the place and all of his views seem to be absolutely awful. That Kate Stewart signed up to twitter in March 2018 which may explain the high amount of tweets, but aye still an odd one. Twitter is a cesspit

  12. Some of the replies are absolutely lifting Genuinely fucking abhorrent. The worst one has been removed, it read: "The Premier League ain't gonna stop the takeover so you and all the other haters who are jealous about us being the richest club in the world may as well give up ?? up the Saudi's"
  13. Khashoggi's widow has posted her statement on twitter. The replies man..... :anguish:
  14. The team may be bottom of the league in terms of goals scored, but they're at the peak of the top lad manager league, and that's what matters.
  15. Some Reddit ITK saying Ashley's side are furious that the deal hasn't been announced yet as it's as good as done
  16. Surely other clubs can't have a say in it? They could just attempt to block any takeover if that's the case.
