How can you argue this is a worse season than usual for Man United? This is them getting back on their feet.
-
Don't even think we're that bad tbh, on occasions like tonight it's completely warranted when the ref's shit and tells us what's an acceptable tackle, so we go and do the same and it's suddenly unacceptable.
-
I count myself lucky every day that I'm in the version of the universe where Unai Emery turned us down and we went with Edward. It's John Solako, Bolo Zenden and Francis Jeffers x100 in terms of its affect on my enjoyment of Newcastle. Howe is in every way a Newcastle manager. How we play is exactly how I think of Newcastle at our base level. And I know there's more to come.

If he can work on his finishing he'll start bagging goals as well, he often gets into the right positions.
-
Back to his best recently. What he does is irreplaceable, an absolute colossus when he's on it.
-
I hate Chelsea. I'm almost slightly annoyed we didn't batter them with the scoreline. We did batter them though, we were so much better than them.
-
Never doubted him for a second

What an absolute cunt that ref was. Gave them everything he could possibly get away with. We've played worse than that and won 4 and 5-1. Chelsea were shit and didn't deserve to be anywhere near a result, the only way they were getting anything was with the ref's help. Pope: 7.5 Trippier: 8.5 Schar: 6 Botman: 8.5 Burn: 7 Bruno: 5 Joelinton: 9 Longstaff: 7.5 Willock: 9 Wood: 7 Almiron: 7.5

I don't disagree like, but our final balls have been poor. Nowt to worry about like, I'm sure it'll improve 2nd half.
-
Longstaff especially should have had a dig when he was on the right side of the area. The trouble with Newcastle is, they try and walk it in.
-
Our decision making and final ball has been the issue, but it's easier just to blame Wood. Wilson would have struggled with the balls we played in that half, it doesn't help that Chelsea are camped in as well.
-
Except he hasn't

Completely dominated without creating a great deal. Can definitely force the issue second half. Blatant penalty as well.

Almiron's still playing you knackers. Also, no team in the league has more different goalscorers than us. -
You'd look at the score and think there was some good football involved but so much of it was just terrible defending
-
It's a miracle that Spurs are where they are in the league, they're absolutely rotten.

Chose Mitrovic, KDB, Trossard instead of Toney, Foden, Maddison when I reshuffled a few weeks ago. -

Some potentially mad looking results going on, hopefully ours' is the dominant home win my gut's telling me it'll be. -
Booooo Moooon
-
Wew! Love that. 98 minutes played, giving Man City every opportunity to score and Brentford go and grab the winner. Delicious
-
Aye, Schar's been the stand out in our defence and the most consistent like, mad how overlooked he is.
-
JLA is there so probably Joelinton
-
It depends I suppose, speaking in a second language is much easier than listening in a second language.

I'd be absolutely shitting myself if I was starting tonight then going straight off to the World Cup, especially with that injury record.
