FWIW as much as I'd rather not have our owners and respect anyone wasting their time and energy trying to do something about it from a moral perspective, the Mackems who use Yemeni kids as a political football because their objection essentially boils down to it being because it's us potentially becoming successful is genuinely disgusting. Delaney and plenty of the other like-for-like "thee not me" bellends can get fucked as well.

Aye, but the point is that my real life and your real life aren't the same. It reads like you're saying real life is the majority alone and no one else, I'm just saying the minority against the owners make up a proportion of that real life. As far as online communities go, N-O isn't too bad for weirdos compared to Twitter or RTG like you say.

For some reason I woke up dreaming about how I need to work our cumulative and average goal difference during the Ashley years compared to now As you can probably guess, it's horrific. Over 12 seasons it's: -168 cumulative -14 average Even if you include the +55 and +45 Championship seasons it's: -68 cumulative -5 average The first proper season without Ashley and we've immediately bettered our goal difference for this stage of the season than at any time in the Premier League under him. It's proper Théodin comes out from under Saruman's spell level stuff.

Don't tarnish with the same brush is all I'm saying really. My step-grandad is one of the best people I've ever known and he was a Liverpool fan, who I know you have opinions on.

In a way the only way to stay a good journalist is to stay an outsider, but then the flipside is that you'll probably never get anywhere

Nice fans kicking off again. Genuinely one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to, can't imagine being in those surroundings and being angry.

It should be goal of the month on MOTD 2 tonight I think

It's why I can't abide by the whole 'such and such fans are cunts', because it's people like that, who are nothing like me and the people I know that they're thinking of. Therefore the same applies with other clubs.

People talk about him getting back to his Rafa form, but honestly I think they're completely different players. Under Rafa my memory of him is being neat and tidy, disciplined, well positioned. Under Howe he's all action, takes risks, never stops.

When you make your entire identity about bettering Newcastle, where do you go when you better them and they're not around anymore? I'm serious btw, us and them were bald men fighting over a comb for those few seasons before the 15/16 relegation. Both clubs were circling the drain and stinking out the league. When we went down they immediately turned from complete shit to complete shit with no incentive. Keegan used to always try and get us away from having Sunderland as our rivals and imo he was spot on, nothing wrong with rivalry between fans but if you measure your success based on that you're doomed to fail.

My lass's dad has Craig in his all time XI but he adores Trippier. I'll have to ask him if Trippier makes the cut yet.

Southampton vs. Newcastle United - 6/11/22 @ 2pm (Sky Sports)

Definitely. No room for players like that under Pardew though. Ben Arfa had to force his way in ahead of Ryan Taylor -

Watching matches back without the stress of worrying about the result is class, nigh on every time we were much better than it seemed like at the time.

Honestly not blowing smoke up your arse here, but it must be an amazing, proud feeling knowing that you're directly contributing to the success of the football club you love and that you and the rest of wor flags are becoming part of Newcastle's history. -
