But they're not though are they.
-
He got Leeds from perpetual Championship bottlers to getting promoted and being the most exciting team to watch in the Premier League. Coming unstuck now doesn't change any of that.
-
He's done an excellent job there, essentially got them in the position where they had something to lose and could press the panic button. Really enjoyed watching them, they're basically when you set your tactics to ultra attacking on FIFA from kick off.

We couldn't get the fans to protest against the universally loathed Mike Ashley. The PIF takeover had 97% approval from the supporters trust. I was against the takeover and don't want the PIF part owning the club I support, but I'd rather try selling garlic in Transylvania than try selling no PIF ownership to Newcastle supporters.

Unfashionable on here and Bruno's going to come in and make an impact at some point, but Shelvey's possibly becoming a bit of an underrated part of our recent run/since Howe came in. Had another solid, unspectacular match again I thought, just keeps us ticking over nicely.
-
Ah howeh, he was like. Had a spell in 11/12 when it seemed like he had a 100% tackle success rate. His whole thing was tackle and play a simple pass, but that was enough for it to be a redemption arc considering his previous form.
-
Easy mistake considering how cultured it was from Schar like.
-
That was Schar
-
I ignored the Bruce era so to me he's just this absolutely class midfielder that was a bargain at £40m. Love a redemption arc though, so I hope it's permanent and not an extreme Perchinho patch.
-
In terms of consistency it has to be Joelinton again for me, possibly Schar.
-
Felt canny sorry for him today like. Must have been thinking it was finally his time to shine after 10 minutes and only really had that one chance all match.

Fabian Schär - signs a one year contract extension on reduced terms (Official)

He's been absolutely fucking brilliant recently. Him and Burn have both been great, but the last 2 matches especially Schar's sterl the sher. -
Thought Dean was actually very kind to us. There was a foul Joelinton got that I'd have been pissed off if it was the other way around.

The thing I love is that it doesn't feel like we're just riding our luck, riding on a wave of positivity, relying on a talisman, or pure defensive organisation to squeeze out results. There's a clear and obvious game plan that you see in every game and it often involves us either dominating possession or being smart with it. It's been a gradual process of the same thing from game 1, without any kneejerk changes in our style. Now we're starting to see the benefits, even without literally our 3 best players. That's all down to Howe, Tindal, and the players for reacting to it. Seriously impressed.
-
It's all in our hands. 2, down from 4.5
-
Succulent as fuck! Dubravka - 6.5 Krafth - 7.5 Schar - 8.5 Burn - 8 Targett - 8.5 Joelinton - 8.5 Shelvey - 7.5 Willock - 8 Fraser - 9 Wood - 6.5 Murphy - 6.5 Bruno - 7.5
-
Could get a lass pregnant with a header like that
-
Excellent stuff, have to say I think Krafth's been very competent. Fraser, Targett, and Schar all excellent. Willock's finish, ooh madone. Can't get complacent though, particularly if they bring Toney and/or Eriksson on. Get another to put it to bed then start looking at controlling possession/getting a goal for Wood.

Good old Spurs, I knew they wouldn't let us down.

Okay, but I have read them. Edit: I'd also put history and belonging above 'demand and progress' because of how those things have manifested into the tourist fan, no-atmosphere soullessness that the fans of Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and others now hate and can't do anything about. I think it's naïve to think it wouldn't happen here too. I know people have a vision of more people from the community being able to see matches and the atmosphere being retained etc, but I honestly think you'd be kidding yourself about that being the reality if you look around at other clubs.

If you think SJP is an intrinsic, essential part of the club's history and what it means to be a Newcastle supporter and have read enough comments from people wanting us to move, not really.
-
You're being facetious but you've described it really well there.

When one of your club's owners is more of a custodian for its history than some of your fellow fans
